Day 2 of #thecontentbytesummit @the_content_byte in Sydney blew my mind.

Thank you to all the speakers for sharing value, authenticity, wisdom and encouragement.

@bernadetteschwerdt reminded us to find our ‘why’ for doing what we do, for finding clients that we value and who value our work in return, and for kicking goals in our niche!

Grant McCall, Monica Davidson and Steven Lewis shared some awesome tips for freelance systems and processes we all need for success. And a reminder that “comparison is the thief of joy!” Love the “monthly money day” and regularly looking at what we do in our business 👉 “is there a better way to do this?”

Thanks to Jas @yourpricingqueen for the fun moderator vibes!

@itsashchow – wow! Loved your session on writing kickass sales pages – your strategy and knowledge in this area was so interesting – nailed it!

Three fantastic editors shared about how to nail the pitch! Thank you, @katebarracosa @katrinastrick @farahceljo for your insights and what not to do as well – so interesting to hear from you all.

@brookmccarthy – boom! What a session. I’ve taken away so many tips of how to build a marketing plan for my business. “Instead of professional, be unforgettable!” and “It’s better to be different than to be better!” Love it!

It was so interesting to hear from @brookehillwonders and @sarahoward_writes about growing your business beyond solo. Hearing their journey’s to where they are today was so inspiring.

It was a whirlwhind couple of days and I am so grateful I got to meet so many awesome peeps that are all killing it as freelancers - so inspired.

Last but not least – @rscopycontent and @lynnetestoni – hats off to you both! Take a bow as you just pull off a next level event filled with so much value, inspiration and togetherness. We can all see how hard you and your team worked to make this happen – thank you so so much.

Trying to get my head out of the clouds now….can’t wait to do it all again next year! 🤩☁️☀️💫

I have something pretty special to share.

My story has been featured in the current edition of @ruthmagazine

What an honour to be included in this magazine amongst other incredible women who are pursuing their passions and living their lives, their way.

Simone from @pretty.produce also features in this edition. Congratulations Simone 💫

I absolutely could not do what I do without the support and encouragement of my family, friends, and all of the flower loving community that keep showing up to the events and workshops that I host. You are the best! And you are my inspiration to keep going.

On this occasion I would especially like to give thanks to:
Sarah @sarahevercoe for capturing the photos of me in action. Even though I know you are ‘in the room’ pointing your camera at me, you make me feel completely comfortable to just keep being myself, and doing what I do.
Amy @amyfarlow_ for penning our story. And your continual help and support to keep sharing our family story. That is to inspire and motivate women to continually invest in themselves and keep learning new skills.

To all of my support crew, together we are working towards one common goal. That is to ‘Share the power of flowers’

And finally, thank you to @ruthmagazine for including my story in this edition, and for publishing such a lovely magazine for us all to enjoy.

Just a girl and her print 🤍

Everly is a best seller and the more I see her in tangible form the more inclined I am to pick a favourite in my collection 😳

Swipe for the blooper / to see how awkward I am in front of the camera 🤦🏻‍♀️

Hands up who else is obsessed with hydrangeas? 🙋‍♀️

Fun fact: I had hydrangeas in my wedding bouquet, so beauties like this one always put a smile on my face 🤍

I captured this bloom as part of a collection for someone who requested a hydrangea print.

If you’ve got a favourite flower that you’d love as a fine art print on your wall get in touch. I love creating bespoke prints.

Prints of this beautiful bloom will be up for sale sometime this week.

Hi! 👋
I’m Sarah and I’m the petal-obsessed photographer behind Bloomin’ Beautiful.

🌻 I live in the Noosa Hinterland where my flower obsession happily runs wild in my garden.

🌻 I am a mum to two humans, my daughter Illyana and son Orson, and one gorgeous black and white cat named Oona.

🌻 BC (before children) my husband and I travelled extensively, visiting around 30 countries. We’ve lived in Ireland and Canada (twice) and hope to share our love of travel with our minis now overseas travel is back.

🌻 My career path has always been about finding that sought after balance of loving what you do. Before I focused my lens on flowers for Bloomin’ Beautiful my photography saw me capturing the natural world on a larger scale through landscapes and travel photography. For close to a decade I’ve worked with both International titles and local publishers as both a photographer and writer.

🌻 In 2009 I was lucky enough to place third in National Geographic Traveler’s ‘World In Focus’ travel photography competition, something that blows my mind even to this day.

🌻 Capturing a tangible piece of art from nature so you can enjoy it in your home makes me so happy 😊 I can’t wait to expand my collection further and start working on some more floraly projects to bring some more bloomin’ goodness to peoples’ days.

🌻 Thank you to everyone here for coming along the Bloomin’ journey with me. I can’t wait to share more floraly goodness with you all!

Hands up who’s been to Point Glorious Lookout?

If ever there was a view on the Sunshine Coast that flies under the radar, this is it.

Hidden within the north-eastern pocket of Mapleton National Park, Point Glorious Lookout offers an entirely different perspective of the Sunshine Coast.

Capturing the rolling green hills of the hinterland all the way across to the coast, the expansive views from Point Glorious are enough to make you fall in the love with the Sunshine Coast all over again.

And at the risk of sounding cliche, it’s pretty darn glorious 😉

You can read about my new favourite place to escape in the latest Hinterland Times.
