This one is for all SRT and Lagree instructors who teach on Xformer or Megaformers: programming for advanced and all levels.

I’ve heard from some of you, teaching advanced students is harder to cue. And it doesn’t need to be. It’s all in layering your variations and using intentional instructional cues.

Opening core:
1 white spring
- plank hold
- walking panther
- seal
- saw
- high panther

Right leg:
1 white spring
- curtsey panther (ill break this down)
- single leg squat (for a more experienced room, side lunge)
- pit lunge
- super kneeling inner thighs (I did this on both sides)
- stationary super squats.

Arms
2 white springs
- lateral raises (1 white spring)
- tricep dips off the back (while I changed the springs)
- chest press
- standing super tricep kickback
- carriage tricep pulls

Right oblique
1 white spring
- carriage mermaid
- twisted saw
- oblique runner

Right into left leg and left oblique and enough time for a center core finisher.

Stress is the killer. We know that. What a gift to feel good and get strong because you started to focus on your nervous system and show up for yourself, quiet the noise when you’re in class and just focus on you.

Found this old video in drafts of me taking @the_jinmethod / @yogijinger class a couple months ago. She’s a killer and we love when she’s kills our muscles

Use my program, also listen to me yapping away about my physical strength having space to expand (my muscles are visible again) bc my mental strength is improving.

Mental strength should never be underestimated!

Really trying to navigate this new world and where I fit into it. And noticing that wow I’m visibly stronger…. Damn. I’m proud of that.

Anyway here’s my class:

- single arm newspaper
- draw the sword

Leg 1
2-3 light springs
- lying side leg press + sweep
1 light spring

- super lunge (5th lunge)
- pit split squat

Arm 2 + Oblique 2:

Dear @beyonce 👑 ,
I would like to formally return to this night. 🤠✨🐝
Please advise.
Sincerely,
🐝 who is clearly not over the final #CowboyCarter show.

One year ago tonight and I’m still not over it ✨. Some nights become memories… This one became a CORE memory 🔒 . All 8 shows I witnessed LA>TX>Vegas but ESPECIALLY this night 😮‍💨.

Forever thankful I got to experience this with my barricade besties (Happy 1 year anniversary 😉 🐝!!) & THE BEST Hive Husband @aturkk ! Here’s to MANY more together 🐝.

Back with more tips on cues, using visual imagery to help describe the action.
@jessabvilla here demonstrating a platform lunge (elevator lunge) to drive the point home.

What are some descriptive images that have helped cue your lunges?

NOTE:
This might be a hot topic, but I still ALWAYS teach with a hinge. And I know the updated #lagreefitness method has removed that. But I teach from my experiences and being hypermobile with a history of sciatica and back surgery, the hinge is more productive for the majority of the population

Been manifesting a “job” I loved that didn’t feel like work. All along it was right there. Funny how things work out.
