Still Undefeated This year, I didn’t leave the CrossFit Games inspired. And that’s okay. Because inspiration didn’t come from the competition floor. It came from something much quieter. It came from watching our athletes compete with courage, seeing years of work show itself in moments most people would never recognize, and remembering why we coach in the first place. The biggest reminder came somewhere unexpected. I hadn’t been back to the gyms I built and left in California in almost seven years. Walking back through those doors, seeing them thriving, and feeling the respect and gratitude from the owners was something I wasn’t prepared for. It reminded me that the work is undefeated. Not the podiums. Not the social media posts. Not the highlights. The work. When you’re building something meaningful whether it’s an athlete, a business, or a community it rarely feels significant in the moment. Most days are ordinary. You show up, solve problems, coach another class, write another program, answer another message, and do it all again tomorrow. You wonder if it’s enough. Then enough time passes, and you realize the work never stopped working. That’s what I took away from this trip. The CrossFit Games didn’t give me my inspiration back. The years of showing up did. Seeing athletes grow did. Seeing businesses I poured myself into continue to serve people did. Watching coaches develop did. Those things reminded me that we’re in the business of building people, and that kind of work compounds long after anyone remembers who won an event. So I leave this season with a different mindset. Still undefeated. Not because we’ve won everything. Because the work is still winning. And that’s enough to make me excited to get back to coaching. We have more to build. More people to help. More lessons to learn. More work to do. - Coach

There’s truly nothing like the experience of sharing the competition floor with 19 of the fittest women in the world. It’s an incredible honor and a blessing I’ll never take for granted. When the clock counts down and it’s 3...2...1...GO!, we’re fierce competitors, but behind the scenes, it’s a completely different story. The encouragement, the “good lucks,” the fist bumps, the hugs, the laughs in the corral, and even athletes from earlier heats offering advice to those about to compete—it’s something special. Every one of us knows the blood, sweat, tears, sacrifices, and countless hours of hard work it took to earn a spot on the biggest stage at the @crossfitgames. That shared journey creates a bond that goes far beyond the competition floor. We don’t have our phones during warm-ups or while we’re in the corral, so there aren’t many behind-the-scenes photos, but the memories we made, the friendships we built, and the respect we have for one another will last a lifetime. Grateful to have shared this experience with such an amazing group of women. ❤️ Thank you ladies! 🙌 #crossfitgames #crossfit #fitness #masters #friendships

Sometimes the greatest test isn’t the workout—it’s your ability to show up anyway. Today isn’t about perfect circumstances. It’s about professionalism, resilience, and finishing what you started. One more chance to compete. Make it count.
