Imagine being woken up at 3am, putting all your kit on and making a game plan for a rescue, getting in the back of a Kingfisher or Herc, mentally preparing to jump into the pitch black and having to swim to shore to just begin your job. For the Canadian Forces Search and Rescue teams coast to coast, that's just a Tuesday.

SAR Course 58 staff invited @caelancarr_photography and me to photograph their water jump training outside CFB Comox last month. Well worth the 4am wakeup, more SAR content coming this week!
