POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Congrats to everyone who competed for Royal this weekend at the WKA's. Tournaments are exhausting! It takes more than talent to make it all the way through. It takes a team and a lot of bumps and bruises. Possibly some extra blood, sweat, and tears as well! At the end of the weekend, we walked away with 4 medals: two gold and two bronze. Not bad for having only 6 people compete this year. Joah and Nere get to call themselves top dogs in their weight classes with an amazing display of kickboxing, durability and guts. Thank you to all the coaches that helped, the teammates that made the trip to support the fighters, and the fantastic air-conditioned building where the event was held this year. That really made a difference! Also, my favorite highlight was when Sauce landed a beautiful cartwheel kick, then got yelled at by the ref and judges. What gives, guys?? 😄

Success isn't just about the 'W'—it's about the effort, the preparation, and the people standing behind you.
We had a busy night with 3 fighters competing in two different spots. All three lost tough decisions, but they fought like absolute warriors against high-level competition. The amateur level is all about these experiences, and I’m proud of the work they put in this camp.
I also want to personally thank the other coaches for their leadership in the corners last night. Managing two shows at once is no small feat. To our members: thank you for being there for your teammates. That’s what a real gym is about.
Onward and upward.
We don't lose, we learn. Back to work.

Huge W. Can’t possibly thank my team @royalstriking enough for pushing me through this camp despite some pretty painful setbacks. Also huge shout out to @tememorialfoundation and the incredible work they do in the memory of the man who made me who I am today, the great Coach Tommy Ellis. The first man to ever truly believe in me, and what I could accomplish, if I “stop being a bitch and man up”. Love you forever, Coach.

I'm incredibly proud and happy for this young man. He fought with an incredible combination of poise and ferocity last night, a mix that ultimately won him the fight.
Yes, Jim definitely ate a few leg kicks! But what many don't know is that he went into this entire fight camp with a partial abdominal tear and a sprained ankle. He barely sparred, which forced him to slow down, focus, and correct his bad habits.
The sheer hard work, determination, and grit paid off in spectacular fashion. Congratulations, Champ!

Also a HUGE thank you to all the coaches and training partners. 🙏
