Officially a Bee! 💙

I’m so excited to announce my commitment to pursue my academic and athletic career at St. Ambrose University.

I’d like to thank Coach Shane, Coach Caroline, Coach Emma, Coach Josh, all my teammates, family, and friends who have helped me get to where I am today.

A big thank you to Coach Jansen, Coach Kaitlyn, and Coach Woods for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.

Can’t wait to see what this next chapter holds. Go Bees!

Congratulations to St. Ambrose Track Athlete Dylan Grandon on being called up to the USA T&F Team!

Dylan is an athlete I have had the pleasure of working with the last few months and he is an incredible athlete to say the least.

Dylan will be competing at the FISU America Games in Lima, Peru this July 26 – August 2 in the 800M event.

NAIA Central presents the 2026 Outdoor Track All-American predictions for the Men’s 800. Who will surpass expectations? Who should’ve been on this list? Let us know in the comments 🔽

1. Nathan Cremin
Nathan Cremin has introduced himself to the NAIA in a spectacular way. The Gardner-Webb transfer won the indoor 1K, and ran an NAIA leading 1:46.45 in the 800 and a 3:48 flat 1500. He is the heavy favorite heading into outdoor nationals. He has only raced three times heading into this meet, so Cremin will be very fresh heading into his first NAIA outdoor nationals.

2. Luis Peralta
Luis Peralta is the top contender for the 800 meter title. After winning the indoor 800 last year, he made it to finals in the outdoor 800 and placed 9th, missing out on an All-American spot. In indoor, Peralta opted to run the 600, where finished in third. This season, Peralta has ran a 1:48.11, with a lifetime best of 1:46.13 while at Oregon. Peralta will need to show flashes of his Oregon self if he wants to challenge Cremin in an honest race. In a tactical race however, Peralta may have the best leg speed in the meet.

3. Dylan Grandon
Grandon is coming off of a 5th place finish in the 800 this past indoor season. In outdoor, he recently ran his time of 1:49.51 and 3:50.29 in the 1500. Before this, he was consistently running 1:52. After just missing out on finals last year, Grandon looks to make it to finals and All-American for the 2nd time in his career.

4. Dean Reynolds
Dean Reynolds is back like nothing happened after a freak incident prior to the indoor national meet. This spring, Reynolds broke 1:50 for the first time in his career, running 1:49.94, which was his 800 opener for this year. Reynolds is also fresh for this meet, only having ran 3 meets thus far this year.

NAIA Central presents the 2026 Outdoor Track All-American predictions for the Women’s Steeple. Who will surpass expectations? Who should’ve been on this list? Let us know in the comments 🔽

1. Ellyse Fleming
Fleming out of UBC leads the women's steeplechase as the favorite to win the title. Last year’s national champion has ran a field best 16:48 5K, and a 10:10.86 steeple, the fastest by 27 seconds. Fleming will look to defend her title and help the UBC women’s team to yet another national championship

2. Ellen Mary Kearney
Also doubling in the 800, Kearney probably has the best leg speed of this event, having run a 2:11 800, and 4:23 1500. This meet will be Kearney’s 2nd steeple of the year, running 10:37 in her conference meet. Kearney can definitely win in a tactical race, but if the race is honest, Fleming is favored, even though it will likely be a close race either way.

3. Abby Knepper
Knepper comes into the steeple prediction in third, with a 10:43.37 PR run at her conference meet. Knepper also ran 10:45 earlier in the year, showing consistency. In other events, Knepper has ran a 4:45 1500. Knepper is looking to improve on her 4th place finish in last year’s outdoor nationals, and will look to become a 3X All American in indoor/outdoor.

4. Kylee Quinton
Quinton is considered a dark horse in this race. She ran 10:47.28 earlier this year in mid-April, but has not broken 11 minutes since. Quinton has legspeed to match anyone in the field, having run 2:12 in March. In a tactical race, Quinton’s strength, toughness, and speed can land her a third place finish, if not second. However, because of her recent struggles, she is fourth.
