Now that she’s back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in her hair
She acts like summer and walks like rain

Earning that Sweaty Yeti 🫈 Run #2 done. It’s a hot one! Bounced around the Lafayette campus & even did the mini stadium stairs (I’m so mean)

Shout out to @squirrels_nut_butter for keep me chafe free and giving Rosie the Wrangler a lil lube too. (Don’t leave the lube in the heat. It gets melty)

Run with Purpose
Loosing track of time but a few years ago @lynnbensing introduced me to @girlsontherun_lehighandpocono. I started coaching at Nazareth Intermediate then added EAMS. Plans are underway for the fall season. Love seeing the girls progress as the season builds to their Celebration 5k. Looking for a fun way to volunteer this is it!

And we’re off….Sweaty Yeti 24hr is underway. Run 1 at Jacobsburg was a doozy. We ended with runs around trees🤪

Run with Purpose
3ish yrs ago @weracepa told me about a new group running in Bethlehem. After they were getting pizza from @paranormalpizzacompany . Vegan pizza & @whogivesacraptp was my intro to @therunningkind_ . At the end of the night I said “those are my people”🤭

My schedule hardly aligned with TRKs races but I’ve run a few of the Long Runs
and volunteered too, most recently at the Little Bitty Backyard. What a time that was! Seriously though if you’re a runner and never volunteered at a race…do it! It’s a whole new perspective. At the end of May it was a year having @aimskoh as my running coach. Has a coach ever fired an athlete? 🤣I go off the rails sometimes and just sign up for things…sometimes a lot of things but she’s been able to roll with it. She’s also been a huge help getting me thru an ankle injury and other curves balls my body continues to throw.

Up next….Run #2

“Laugh it up fuzzball” -whoever was in charge of the spray can great job you did!

My 10th Quadzilla (missed 2020 & 2024). While alot has changed since my first in 2015 it’s always been the race I love to hate, but hate to miss. I’m not chasing PRs anymore and it’s far less running and more power hiking. I’m accepting the slower pace and enjoying more time in nature.

To volunteer that said “since when did this become a walking race”. I kept my STFU to myself. 😡Please take my 20 lb ruck and go run it! So much appreciation for all the other volunteers & Vark Cheer Squad!

We paced a guy, unknowingly, during the race and then cheered him across the finish line🎉

Our faces from 2015😬 @sav_stephenss was just old enough to register. No idea what we were doing! We’ve come a long way, baby🦕

No Planet B Jamboree was a blast!

The rain didn’t scare these runners away. We always love being a part of this event each year and celebrating Earth Day with @nextfavband in Bethlehem!
