Here’s a few more photos from Moving Day, highlighting the workshop Dance and Camera that we offered to our Movers. This workshop focussed on the relationship between the camera and the dancer, and was all about learning by doing. We practiced framing, being aware of the camera and playing around with movement of the camera in relation to movement by the dancers.

antigravity / a workshop by @evangelos_poulinas coming to b12 spring in berlin this april / 13/04 — 16/04/2023

find out more about the festival and apply for your workshops via the b12 website linked in our bio / www.b12.space

let's find the most efficient way of performing a demanding movement sequence. by analyzing the movement itself, the physical forces, and the anatomical characteristics of our bodies, we will explore ways to maximise our performance by combining the given possibilities and have them work to our advantage. we will use the force of gravity to ground us, to support us, to allow us to take risks and to push our limits, in order to finally escape gravity. by utilising our potential to the highest degree, we will evolve and discover new facets of ourselves.

Having a bad day? Go to the beach in your mind! ⁣
⁣
It always works for me, especially when my imposter syndrome rears it’s ugly head. ⁣
⁣
Those days aren’t fun, but imagining I’m running around in the sand and surf with a dancer always seems to make me forget my troubles and relax. Where are you vacationing in your mind today?⁣
