Term 4 Movement Showcase was great.
We got to bring all our world together though our body and soul. The movement of our own arts.

Thank you Christopher for always being open to ideas and seeing us for what we are and can be. @sawchync

When you deny yourself in your art, you’re left starving for approval from other people.

The more you look outside of yourself for permission, reassurance, or proof that you’re doing it right, the further you get from your own instincts, your own art, your own magic.

The work starts to become about being received well instead of being honest. You have to be willing to trust what you know, tell yourself the truth, and stay with yourself even when the work feels uncertain.

You can’t control how you’re received. You can only stay on your own side. And know that is enough.

The amount you trust yourself and are honest with yourself is directly proportionate to how much we want to watch you. If you aren’t willing to tell yourself the truth, we won’t feel comfortable believing the truth of what you’re showing us. Self-trust is watchable. Honesty is watchable. The more deeply you’re willing to know yourself, the more we’re able to come with you.

The industry doesn’t need a more polished version of someone else. Being undeniable isn’t people pleasing. It’s being wild, true, and free. That’s what people respond to. That’s why they come to you. - @mermcgeachie

Hilarious and beautiful practice by @sawchync & @tennilleread
