Every girl has the right to grow up in safety, to learn, and to realize her full potential. Investing in girls' education, protection and well-being is essential to building resilient communities and sustainable peace and development in Somalia.

SINA reaffirms its commitment to working with communities, partners and stakeholders to advance the rights and opportunities of girls across Somalia.

Came as strangers, left as friends 🤍

As part of @humanappeal fundraising challenge for Sudan and Lebanon, a group of strangers took on a challenge to conquer the Balkan mountains and rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina🇧🇦. Ending each challenge with soulful reflections, breathing work and girlhood🫶🏼

What a privilege to be amongst such determined, self disciplined and resilient women. All from differnt age groups and backgrounds, we found ways to relate, support and hold each-other up in the most treacherous conditions.

Saying goodbyes is not the hardest, it’s the silent breakfast alone when you’re back home and realise how much you got used to the chitter chatter and adrenaline mornings with them all 🫶🏼

A trip of a life time. Alhamdulillah. Please donate as much as you towards @humanappeal Sudan fundraising!

I felt physically and mentally exhausted at many points of this trip but it was a lesson that your body is capable of so much more than you think. When i was reflecting, I kept thinking of the prosthetic limb surgery project that we had carried out in Gaza. I thought how my knee pain or calf cramps is nothing in comparison to children who lose their limb in war. That is why the cause is more important than anything else. Alhamdulillah always 🩷🇱🇧
