NEW FILM INTERVIEW - LINKS IN BIO: HELLO BEAUTIFUL in theaters SEPTEMBER 25th, 2026 - Writer and executive producer Christine Handy and the feature film based on her life, HELLO BEAUTIFUL starring actress Tricia Helfer.

Christine Handy is a passionate advocate, keynote speaker, author and model who champions women to realize their power and inner beauty amidst adversity.

As a breast cancer survivor, Christine is proof that pain does not have to limit one from thriving. She uses her experience in the fashion industry to challenge outdated cultural values that once limited certain groups of women in the past.

Christine uses her story to inspire hope and courage as well as providing real life wisdom to those who have been affected by illness and trauma.

FEATURE FILM REVIEW: There are films that entertain us. There are films that move us. And then there are films that reach somewhere deep inside us and quietly ask us to reconsider the way we see our own lives.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL is that kind of film.

Inspired by Christine Handy’s remarkable journey with breast cancer, this is not merely a story about a woman confronting a devastating diagnosis. It is a story about what happens when the life we thought we knew is suddenly taken apart—and we are forced to discover who we really are underneath it all.

Tricia Helfer’s performance as Willow is extraordinary. She does not simply portray cancer; she inhabits the fear, loneliness, anger, vulnerability and uncertainty of a woman suddenly confronted with her own mortality. We watch Willow lose pieces of the identity she once held so tightly, only to discover something far more meaningful waiting underneath.

And that is where HELLO BEAUTIFUL touched me most deeply.

Because cancer may be at the center of this story, but the soul of this film is about human connection.

It is about the people who sit beside us when there are no answers. The friends who don't know what to say. The family members who are frightened but try to be strong. The quiet moments when love becomes more powerful than words.

Christine Handy has taken one of the most painful chapters of her life and transformed it into a gift for others. She has given audiences permission to look beyond the diagnosis—to see the woman, the mother, the wife, the friend, the survivor and, most importantly, the human being.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL reminded me that beauty is not always found in perfection.

Sometimes beauty is found in the scar.

In the tear.

In the trembling hand that reaches for someone else.

In the courage to wake up one more morning and say, I am still here.

And perhaps that is the greatest message of this beautiful film: sometimes life has to break us open before we discover how much beauty was inside us all along.

A diagnosis can change routines, plans and the way a family moves through each day. But it does not take away the person at the center of it—their identity, their dreams, their relationships or the life they are still living.

HELLO BEAUTIFUL is a reminder that a woman facing cancer is still a mother, a friend, a daughter and entirely herself.

In theatres nationwide September 25.
