“But things were changing. Ten years had passed, and Lucius could smell it in the air. There was unrest at the top, and his situation had seemed precarious.

It was time for a shift in loyalty.”

So excited to reveal a special project I have been working on! The stars aligned when I paired up with @sayrahjoyce as she was the winner of my giveaway! Together we collaborated on designing a cover and inner sleeve print for her next bookbinding project. 📚

She recommended me an amazing fic that I wanted to share as well. For #dramione readers, A Shift in Loyalty by Soap1 is available on Ao3. Remember to read the tags because I did not and got a (pleasant) surprise.😆

2025 Hardcover Fic Binding

It's been such a journey this year, wow. I've taken a backseat in the community for several months now due to being overwhelmed. My goal had been to reduce social media usage- a continued goal hopefully into 2026.
So lately, I'll quickly pop on here, post and bye 😅

But making this post reminded me of all the wonderful connections I've made through this community. Exchanges have been such a good way for me to step out of my introverted/anti-social zone, and in 2026, I actually think I'd like to partake in more exchanges and get myself out of this weird funk.

Anyway, love all of you who have been there to support me, appreciate my work and give me all the advice I very much needed.

And mostly, thank you to everyone who still checks up on me despite knowing I'm absolute 💩 with messaging. And to those who know that my quiet isn't a lack of engagement or care, but something I've struggled with much this year ❤️

Here's to a great new year 🥂

Who recognizes that wedding scene?

*spoiler allert*

Yes, it’s from Remain Nameless by HeyJude19. Their second marriage, the magical one, where Hermione is led to the altair and Draco by her Golden Boys. And before anyone asks if they can’t use it in bind - sorry you can’t - it has been created especially for @sayrahjoyce as part of comission she won in the auction by @pressthepatriarchy ❤️ hence the watermark 🫶🏼 Sayrah was kind to let me show you this already because i have no chill and can’t never sit long on a finished artwork 😂

(Quick reminder i don’t do paid fandom comissions unless it’s for for charity ❤️ if you want to bid on my comission there will be on as a part of @bookbindsforacause auction ❤️

Here is my contribution to the #bindthemback They Are Risen Easter Exchange.
.
I went full on heretical. The inspiration was a children's Bible called "God's BIG promises"... instead you get Tess's BIG Promises a one shot anthology.
.
When thinking about the fic I wanted to use I couldn't narrow it down. Instead I remembered, from my traumatizing childhood, that the Bible isn't one story. It's a collection of unhinged stories. So I scoured Ao3 for the most unhinged one-shots I could find where at least one of the characters was dead canonically (or both).
.
The Result was so fun to make. The cover art of all our HP apostles, Jesus, and even pointus pilot, were commissioned from the AMAZING @scribblingdodo who took "make his hands do the shocker" without complaint. Thank you thank you.
.
@sayrahjoyce I am so sorry you got me and my horrible brain for this one but I hope you at least got a giggle.
.
Thank you @louies.librarybinds and @tome.turner for putting on such an amazing exchange and I hope the group chat lasts forever. But hopefully one day my feed will recover from it.
.
All these fics can, and should be read on Ao3, for free! Don't forget to leave kudos and kind comments!

It was so fun to incorporate most of Edgar Degas’ art throughout the typeset.

This was such a fun read and a breath of fresh air🥰 Read for free on AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/13515783
