WHAT GETS YOUR CREATIVITY MOVING?

Sometimes the best thing you can do when the ideas aren’t coming is stop trying quite so hard to find them.

In this week’s Awesomely Off Topic, we got talking about books, creativity, co-working and what happens when you give your brain permission to do something completely different.

For Asha, movement can unlock creativity – getting away from the desk, walking the dogs, heading outside or changing the environment.

For Taz, it was disappearing into fiction. After feeling decidedly flat creatively, a bit of pure escapism unexpectedly opened the floodgates again – including more than 100,000 words of writing in a few weeks. 😳

Naturally, we also somehow ended up talking about lizards, awareness days, business books, body doubling and whether the calendar has finally lost the plot.

Well, it is Awesomely Off Topic…

To listen, check the link in our bio.

What helps you get your creativity moving when it seems to have disappeared?
