Black cats make up roughly one-third of the total animal shelter population, and yet they have much longer waiting times and lower adoption rates. Sadly, superstitions still play a role in this. ☹️

In Japan, black cats are symbols of good luck! They are said to ward off evil, bring luck in love, and increase financial success and prosperity! 🍀

We love our lucky Lucy! Have you had a black cat before? Maybe this is your sign to get one! 🖤
