A recent conversation with one of our members really sparked this conversation.

You are already doing so many hard things in @crossfit that others don’t - there’s no reason to be so self deprecating about your effort in the gym.

Only because you are surrounded by people who are also trying to get fitter like yourself and some might be more advanced, doesn’t mean that your effort wasn’t at the same level as theirs.

CrossFit is so cool because it allows everyone to experience the workouts with their own level of intensity, their level of skill, and effort.

We just want to make you fitter. Scaling allows us to that.

Next time your coach asks you to modify it’s because they are asking you to actually do more.

Do something hard, make it fun, and surround yourself with people who push you yo be better.

Big congrats to our podium winners this weekend! You showed up, embraced the challenge and put in the work & it paid off.

Hard things hit different when you do them together. ❤️‍🔥

Workout 4 — Luck of The Draw 🎲🐂

Sometimes you make your own luck.

Sometimes…your coaches pull a workout out of a hat.

The final workout of The CattleDrive Showdown — The Great Train Heist was our hopper. Drawn the night before and revealed to the teams with one job: SEND IT! ⛽️🔥

A sub 5-minute sprint. Pull-ups, synchronized sit-ups, chest-to-bars, and back in reverse to the pull-up bar for the final push.

No time to overthink it. No time to settle in.
We train for the unknown and unknowable.

Just hang on, move fast, and empty the tank.
The last workout, the final heist and one last chance to make your move.

Workout 3 — Calamity Gwen

A twist on the Classic Gwen, with a little more time pressure, a lot more consequence, and absolutely no room for a missed rep.

Three chances to get the barbell work done. Miss a rep? Back to the start. 😮‍💨

This was just the buy-in, your score? The number of burpee box get-overs you could finish in the time remaining.

By workout 3, the legs were tired, the tanks were getting low and every clean & jerk came with a little more pressure.

Calamity Gwen lived up to her name. 💀🔥

Some teams made it look smooth, others had to fight for every rep & everyone paid the price.

🚂💰 Workout 2 — Loot & Load

The train kept rolling, and our teams kept brining the heat.

Three rounds of heavy squats, big jumps, and bikes pushed to the limit with teammates yelling, cheering and pushing eachother all the way through.

Every rep mattered. Every second counted. And when it was over…the loot was loaded.

Huge effort from every team that got through workout 2. This is what competition is all about. ❤️‍🔥

🐎 Chasing The Iron Horse 🐎

Yesterdays opening workout had everything — fast feet, heavy lifts, rope climbs, questionable decision-making (why did we sign up for this again? 😂), and A LOT of teamwork.

Scaled & intermediate athletes came ready to send it, and you can feel the energy in these clips. What a way to kick off the day!
