my homies & i… my beloveds and i… we’re from the future. the future of love. revoIutionary love.

audio message extracted from a voicenote i recorded just this morning. felt compelled to share just this part with you. sometimes the things i say during the most mundane moments feel saturated with depth that i can’t always replicate later on. trying to be honest with myself and with the world.

💕🧿
Closing the 2025 with these vibes, and more. Hoping for 2026 to bring in more alignment, more depth and more care.
.
Sometimes I truly wonder how long this life will be. But one thing I’m certain is however long/short it is I wanna spend it doing my best to love and nurture a better world.
.
So 2026, inshallah more spaces and support for our people, more love, more music & comedy and more you and me. 💕
.
May all our days be spent in pursuit of fueling the movement forward.
.
May our ancestors guide us every step of that way. 🤲🏾
.
Those of us who’ve been working our backs off, I hope you find ease in the next few days and inshallah more of us and the work in 2026❤️‍🔥🧿 #freeus

Dearest Companions of Grief 🖤

We’re honored to present to you: Grief Studies—a collective zine compiling the works of students from Fariha Róisín’s first ‘Grief Studies’ writing workshop, which took place from February through April of 2024.

Grief Studies was shaped by the stages of grief alongside the stages of decolonization, while also reflecting these times of collective tragedy, collapse of the planet, and devastating multiple genocides. It holds personal writing, reflections, and art inspired, in large part, by the readings and writings from our class series. And most urgently, it became a community—a space where we exorcised our witnessing through communing, writing, and holding space for our personal griefs.

Together, we held one another as we responded to the wreckage of what binds us – our collective griefs: ongoing genocides, shared ecocide, war, and the hurt, abuse, and trauma born from all of it.

🔗 You can learn more and order a copy at https://griefstudieszine.framer.website/

Pre-order is open through July, with the first shipment of books going out early August 2025. Both physical and digital options are available online. Any profits made will be donated to Palestinian mutual aid funds.

Deep gratitude to Fariha, to our zine team and community, and to everyone who shaped this offering—we can now share it with you. 🤲🏽
