Unsere Roadmap 2026:
Dieses Jahr ging es ab Mattsee über Pöndorf Richtung Neukirchen an der Vöckla mit Boxenstopp am Hotel Gasthof Böckhiasl zu Weißwurstfrühstück und erster Sonderprüfung.

Die zweite Etappe führte uns über Frankenmarkt und Mondsee zum Gasthaus Troadkasten in Oberhofen am Irrsee zu Brettljausn und 2. Sonderprüfung.

Im Anschluss starteten wir in die 3. Etappe: Zurück über Neumarkt am Wallersee ins heimische Mattsee mit Eis-To-Drive Boxenstopp am Café Neuhofer 🍦

gathered some of the closest ones at the table 🫶🏼 all tabs closed, screens (literally) put away for some hours and photos taken with a digicam - i think it’s time to be present and bring more offline interaction into this life

Hosting a contemporary slavic dinner, our cafe turned into a pop-up restaurant for two evenings this week as part of the @altstadt.salzburg eat&meet festival - it felt a little slower, a little louder and for some a little more like home.

The ideas came naturally. With this year’s theme “grenzenlos” (boundaryless), for the MA MAKERS team it was not just about food but about where a lot of us come from and how those places stay with us. Shaped by our roots in Ukraine, Belarus and Czechia, the menu we chose carried nostalgic memories and familiar flavours like sour cherries, red beets, vareniki and napoleon. Everything was slightly reimagined through little creative touches from our side 🙌 So we are incredibly proud to have served:

Beetroot Carpaccio with fresh fennel, grapefruit filets, toasted walnuts, and goat cheese for starter,

Vareniki / Pierogi filled with potatoes and wild mushrooms, served with whipped crème fraîche and caramelised onions for the main dish,

And our family-recipe Napoleon - layered puff pastry cake with cherry compote.

Dinner was accompanied by homemade pear & chamomile soda, “solozhenik” vodka-cherry-vanilla cocktail and hedonista natural wine @naturalwinedealers

We thank each and every one of you for being part of the dinners and hope you enjoyed the evening - danke, thank you, дякуємо, дзякуй, děkujeme ❤️🤍
