Inside & out ❤️

The beauty of womankind is in the way we keep finding each other.

In friendships. On dancefloors. In borrowed clothes, bathrooms at 2am, shared stories, knowing looks, laughter, comfort and safety.

Different women. Different lives. Different versions of what it means to be a woman- and still, there’s a thread between us❤️

To womanhood in all its softness, rage, mess, humour, beauty and contradiction. To the women who came before us, the women beside us, and the women still becoming.

The beauty of womankind. 🧵

What do I want for Wyld Ember?
I want to change the world.

I’m so grateful for my 5 years working with fantastic @andrearippon who guided me towards my work of self worth. Now she is retiring and I couldn’t be more happy for her, she gives so much!

As she wisely said, I can work on my own self worth as I teach it.

So that’s what I’m doing.

If you’re ready to change the world, it starts with accepting yourself exactly as you are.

It starts with understanding YOU are worthy.

Moving to Toronto has been a beautiful beginning.

I’ve been able to sit in a slow start, practicing returning to the home within myself that I set out to find when I left home at 15.

Lessons that stay with me will always be about building from the ground up, being patient and practicing resilience.

My meditation this week has been: I am patient in the struggle of new beginnings.
Using this to anchor myself and accept the hard parts of change has reminded me that my expectations of myself can also change.

After all, the inner critic is trying to help us survive. Often in spaces where everything in this moment is actually okay - which is a true privilege.

Thank you Toronto for welcoming me so gently, thank you summer for giving me the energy to start it all.

I’m excited to enter this Autumnal time of receiving, as Wyld Ember begins to grow.

My thoughts on how beautiful changing seasons can be, should we lean into it.

Such a wonderful time to ground ourselves as the world changes around us.

Focusing on what we take in to nourish us is essential at this time, mentally, emotionally, physically and energetically.

The practice of accepting change and grounding ourselves a little deeper each time it happens.

Mandala is for everyone.

My favourite part of teaching mandala workshops is the structure. The inner centre and outer border reflect our inner and outer being, us and the universe.

I love that the mandala must have both to be complete.

Practicing mandala is not only great bilateral stimulation, it also calms the amygdala - the area of our brain which processes emotions, especially fear and anxiety.

Tibetan monks have created mandalas from sand, in ritual, as a spiritual practice since the 8th - 10th century. After ten days of hard work, they are destroyed to represent the transitory nature of our reality, asking us to accept change and not cling too hard to any part of our lives.

Such a beautiful practice and a gift to share.
I’m very excited to do more…

These shots are from my workshop in Norfolk, UK on retreat @thenorfolkuprising 🤍

Summer ‘26
the summer of people

At the end of the uni year I manifested having the best summer of my life. It fucking delivered. I’m not usually one to post a carousel but I have to take the time to honour all the souls who have made it magic.
There has been cheese and wine, shifts and giggles, dancing and delirium, yoga and equilibrium, sun and surf, snow and skiing, coffee with the homies, beer with the girlies. Somehow I’ve still found the time to dye my hair pink, pay my rent, and turn twenty one.

From Bordeaux to Sydney to Morocco to the UK- thank you to the people who rock my world. Pictured or not, you know who you are 🌞

Now it’s time to switch over to the work-life. Knuckle back down at university and welcome in the darkness of winter 🌚

Maybe I’m cheesy, maybe cliché, but i really do have the best friends I could ever ask for.

How would it feel to treat your creativity the same way you do your productivity?✨

As humans, creativity is a core part of who we are.

Through writing, drawing, singing and expression, how can we find a space to recharge alone and with others?🪽

Have a practice and see what happens…🤍

Freedom is about more than what happens on the mat.

Last year, Scher had the opportunity to run free English classes for local children in Thailand, working with children aged 5–15 and supported by local teachers.

What started as informal classes in a local community space is now growing into something even more meaningful.

Next year, we’re hoping to work directly with the school, creating an opportunity to better understand what the students need, what they want to learn, and how we can tailor the experience around them.

It’s about connection.
It’s about community.
It’s about giving something back.

And most importantly, it’s about creating genuine connections with the people and places we visit.

We’re incredibly excited to see where this takes us next. 🌏🤍

Keep your eyes peeled for more from Scher and the Freedom team.
