On my way back from a lovely trip to visit @schirin1111, I’m smiling about a weekend full of fun, friendship, and a challenge I definitely did not see coming.

@joostvp82 and Lisette (who is not on socials) gave Schirin and me a mission: to find the Bremen Town Musicians in real life. And of course, we took that challenge very seriously.

Challenge completed. ✨

Want to see how we did? You can find the vlog via the link in my bio at DTN Off the Track. If you want to see the challenge Joost send me follow me on Polarsteps.

My dear friend is, once again, all the way across the sea. @schirin1111 I am so grateful for our time together in NYC with our sons! It was wonderful. And I still can't believe we experienced a surprise @warriorsalbum listening party!🤯 To the man whose work brought us together in the first place--"thank you" isn't enough for such a gift, @lin_manuel. You, your family, and your team are the best people in the world.❤️ Until next time!🫶

THROWBACK THURSDAY to a year ago when two friends who live an ocean apart both secretly commissioned me to draw portraits of Lin-Manuel Miranda for each other! It was so much fun to draw these and keep their surprises a secret!
