🔥 **From the bush to the braai, making a difference!** 🇿🇦

On Friday, Dream Team Safaris had the privilege of supporting the **Morester Child and Youth Centre Annual Fundraising Day** by sponsoring 40 kg of wors, which we proudly braaied and shared with everyone on the day.

🌿 **What makes this contribution special?** The meat comes from animals ethically harvested during our hunting season, showing how responsible hunting can contribute beyond the field and help support meaningful community initiatives.

We’re proud to be part of a day that brings people together for a good cause. Because at Dream Team Safaris, we believe that getting closer means more than experiencing the wild — it means making a difference in the communities around us.

**Dream Team Safaris — Get Closer.** ❤️

A cloud of dust, thunder beneath their feet, power in motion. This is buffalo country — wild, unpredictable, and unforgiving.

🦌 THE RUT WILL SOON BE OVER — BUT WHAT ABOUT THE STAGS?

Weeks of fighting, roaring and reduced feeding leave mature stags physically depleted, facing winter at their most vulnerable.

Yet Scotland has removed the male deer close season, exposing these animals to year-round culling.

Was this genuinely necessary for deer management, or simply another tool to drive down deer numbers?

Mature stags are vital to our Highland heritage, ecology and rural economy.

If the rural economy matters, are we sacrificing a valuable natural resource while opening the gateway to a red deer–sika hybrid swarm?

Proud to share the teaser for the film that I filmed and edited for SCI Foundation. This project took place over several months, filming in New mexico on two different trips. All the partners and supporters came together to make this important work happen. And it was so fun to get to film and work with my good friend Greg, who was the pilot for the helicopter portion.

You can watch the full film at the link in my bio.

Main footage Filmed on @sonyalpha FX3, A7RV, and A7SIII

Planning your first African safari? Here's how to plan it right, in 7 steps:

1️⃣ Choose your destination: Kenya's Maasai Mara, Tanzania's Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater, gorillas in Uganda & Rwanda, then Zanzibar's beaches
2️⃣ Set your budget (park fees + gorilla permits add up)
3️⃣ Pick your stay: tented camp or lodge
4️⃣ Pack smart: neutrals, layers, binoculars, soft duffel
5️⃣ Sort visas & vaccines early
6️⃣ Book flights via Kigali, Nairobi or Kilimanjaro
7️⃣ Avoid common mistakes: fewer parks, longer stays, travel insurance, permits booked early

Save this for your first safari

Beyond Healthcare, A Commitment to Community.

Every contribution, every act of service and every helping hand plays a part in strengthening our communities.

As part of SCI Pakistan Chapter’s joint welfare initiative with Wasil Welfare Trust, representatives came together to support community members through medical assistance and the distribution of welfare supplies.

These moments reflect what community service is truly about: coming together, recognising needs and turning shared intentions into meaningful action.
