After glassing the hills for sometime we were able to spot this magnificent Eland bull on the opposite mountain slope we managed to put in a successful stalk, at 120m the client took an exceptional shot and the bull didn’t go 50 yards.

🇺🇸 Sometimes you need only a few minutes of luck !🌿 What a chamois buck. Maybe one for lifetime. After what turned out to be a long day in the mountains with low temperatures and hard wind, plenty of chamois, but no suitable buck on the way home this buck was give me as a gift. Can‘t be happier and pleased.

Estonia to Islamabad — that’s how far this table stretches.

Hennis Rei traveled from Estonia to join the Safari Club International Pakistan Chapter for our gala and conference, standing shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan’s hunters, wildlife professionals and conservationists.

It’s a small thing to say „SCI is a global community“ — it’s another to watch it happen in the room. When a member crosses continents to be part of these conversations, it’s a reminder that Pakistan’s wildlife heritage isn’t just a national concern. It’s part of a bigger story that hunters and conservationists around the world are invested in.
Welcome, Hennis — glad to have you at the table.

Conservation moves forward when government, science, communities and responsible hunters come to the same table.

The Safari Club International Pakistan Chapter brought together representatives of Pakistan’s provincial wildlife departments, SCI International Directors and representatives, conservation professionals, researchers, policymakers and members of the hunting community for a series of meetings and discussions focused on the future of wildlife conservation and sustainable use in Pakistan. The Chapter’s wider conservation programme is built around collaboration with wildlife authorities, local communities and international conservation partners to strengthen biodiversity conservation, habitat protection and responsible hunting.

Discussions addressed key priorities including wildlife policy and governance, community-based conservation and sustainable trophy hunting, science-based wildlife surveys and quotas, CITES and trophy export, hunters’ rights, ethical hunting, fair chase and conservation education.

These conversations form an important step toward stronger cooperation, better wildlife management and practical conservation outcomes — ensuring that Pakistan’s remarkable wildlife heritage is protected through science, responsibility and sustainable use.

The SCI Pakistan Chapter was pleased to welcome José María Losa, President of the SCI Iberian Chapter, to Pakistan for our Conference, Gala Dinner and Panel Discussions.

His visit from Spain was a valued show of support for the Pakistan Chapter and for the wider work being undertaken to strengthen wildlife conservation and responsible hunting in Pakistan.

The discussions focused on the importance of ethical hunting, science-based wildlife management, sustainable use, habitat protection and community participation as part of a long-term approach to conservation. Bringing together experience from different SCI Chapters also helps strengthen cooperation, share best practices and build a more informed and responsible approach to protecting wildlife for future generations.

We sincerely appreciate José’s presence, friendship and continued support for the SCI Pakistan Chapter, and look forward to further collaboration between our Chapters.
