Barnevelder Chickens 🐓
8 hens, 3 roosters

We got our chickens in early March and most of them remain unnamed 🫣 other than Clyde the rooster and Mary the hen.

Clyde is the largest rooster and seems to be the leader and Mary has distinct red feathers.

Noodle and Nugget AKA “Quack Attack”
Runner Ducks - Fawn and White

We got Noodle and Nugget in February and they have grown fast! They love spending any time in water and have a new obsession with mealworms 😆

We are working on moving them into a duck house outside and hope to have a pond for them as well!

Next week we are adding 4 more ducks to the flock - 2 more Runners and 2 Welsh Harlequins 😍

Gertie and Ginny Goat AKA “The Goat Girls” 🐐

We got Gertie and Ginny in May of 2024 when they were just a few weeks old - they are twin sisters!

They are very affectionate and love to eat! They frequently get the goat zoomies which we like to call “goat parkour” 😆 Gertie and Ginny were the perfect addition to our farm!

“I’m a year postpartum and training for my first Boston marathon. Before I started working with Britt I was taking body pump classes once a week which are low weight and high reps. Britt has helped me feel more confident lifting heavy while focusing on the main muscles for running stronger and faster. Im also able to do all the exercises at home making it more convenient and efficient with my schedule as a working mom.” @gina_in_the_zone

“I look forward to my workouts and have been feeling stronger in the gym and with my running! I am using the barbell for the first time and not scared to go up in weights. I love that my strength program is tailored to me and my goals” @scolajillian

💙💛 I’ve been working 1:1 for strength training with these ladies for almost 4 months now. Boston is the #1 goal but they will 100% showing up stronger, fitter and ready to conquer the course! Gina has hit both a 5k and 1k PR mid marathon cycle and Jill just snagged 2nd OA female at her 15 mile training race 🤩💪🏼 So proud of you!

See, lifting isn’t so scary when you have purpose and programming than aligns with your run goals 😊 If the gym and “strength training” feels overwhelming the moment your running ramps up then you probably aren’t following a program that’s right for you.

Interested in strength training? Apply for 1:1 custom strength training in my bio💕 AND stay tuned here for my monthly strength subscription option starting March 1 👀💪🏼

I remain convinced; nothing beats a marathon weekend.

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend so, so special. There is nothing that comes close to filling my cup as much as time with friends and athletes. The depth of relationships, community and vulnerability with those you share so much in common with is a very special thing, and something I treasure deeply ❤️

Back home to recharge for 2024!
