TPD X TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT MODEL SCHOOLS.

Building safer, stronger school sports systems.

On 26–27 September, The Performance Doctor conducted a two-day capacity-building programme for Tamil Nadu Government Model Schools in Trichy, bringing together 119 physical educators, staff nurses, Silambam and Karate trainers from 39 schools and 14 centres.

From sports emergency response and CPR/AED practice to long-term athlete development, adolescent nutrition, injury prevention, fitness testing and sports psychology, the programme focused on equipping school professionals with practical knowledge they can take straight into their schools.

But the learning doesn’t stop here.

Every participant left with a 90-day action plan, and every nurse developed an emergency action plan for their school. Follow-ups through October, November and December will help turn these learnings into lasting practice.

A programme made possible by dedicated experts, a committed team and a shared belief that every young athlete deserves a safer, healthier environment to grow and perform.

Our sincere thanks to the Tamil Nadu Government Model Schools department and everyone who made these two days meaningful.

At The Performance Doctor, we’re working towards a future where sports science, medicine and performance support reach athletes where it matters most starting at the grassroots.

You saw it on Instagram. You want it. 👀

But the best exercise isn’t the fanciest one. It’s the one that fits your goal, your stage of recovery, and can be loaded progressively.

Boring, controlled and progressive rebuilds you. Wobbly and viral just looks good on camera.

Good enough, done well, beats fancy done badly. 💪

Your weight is just one piece of the story!

Scale weight alone doesn't show what is actually happening inside your body. A Body Composition Analysis (BCA) reveals your exact Muscle Mass, Body Fat %, Visceral Fat (fat around organs), and Hydration levels.

Why Athletes & Fitness Enthusiasts Need a BCA Scan:

• Optimize Fat Loss While Cutting: Drop fat without sacrificing hard-earned, performance-critical muscle mass.

Master Body Recomposition: Track simultaneous muscle gain and fat loss so you know your training protocol is actually working.

Maximize Athletic Performance: Uncover hidden hydration gaps and muscle imbalances to boost power output and speed up recovery.
Join our FREE Body Composition Workshop!

• Location: @theperformancedr Adyar
Date: 21.09.2026
Free Scans (Walk-In): 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
* Exclusive Seminar with Sports Nutritionist: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
(Learn why BCA matters and how to interpret your exact results!)

Community people: Wait for the end 😂 you have something…

Push your body too much OR take complete rest?

Are you someone who’s confused between “Doctor said rest” and “Coach said train”? 😭

There’s actually a middle ground.👀

Listen to our Sports Physiotherapist explain how light, appropriate exercises can be safely incorporated during rehab without overloading your injury or completely stopping movement.

Because rehab isn’t always about “DO NOTHING.”
It’s about knowing WHAT to do, WHEN to do it, and HOW MUCH.

🎥 Watch till the end and let us know: Are you Team Rest or Team Train?👇

Learning should be an ongoing process. My physio helped me out of pain, but there is still so much to learn from her and it’s just the beginning 🥲

Your knee pain isn’t always a knee problem. 👀

Jumper’s Knee (Patellar Tendinopathy) isn’t just about the tendon. When your ankle, hip or trunk isn’t doing its job, the knee may end up taking more load than it should.

🦶 Ankle mobility
🦵 Knee load
🍑 Hip strength & control
🧍 Trunk control
🏃 Landing mechanics

Don’t just treat the pain. Build a better landing.

Save this post & share it with an athlete dealing with recurring knee pain.
