To be frank, I’ve been delaying making this post because I knew it’d require me acknowledging that this is one of the major shifts I’ve had in recent years.

Leaving Scotland, a place I have so happily called home for the last 7 years wasn’t an easy decision, but a necessary one.

Like many things in life, there’s so much beauty and excitement that comes with change. I knew that if I wanted to fulfil my aspirations, I had to take a leap and see where the winds would carry me.

Granted, it’s not like I’ve moved to the other side of the world - I’m merely ~3:30 hours down the road as my friends say, so ultimately, home isn’t incredibly far. Still, I can’t deny that the past few months prior to my departure have been a mixture of emotions and feelings, some of them good, some of them bad, but as my good friend Mercy says ‘feel it out’, so that’s what I’ve been doing.

Scotland, specifically Glasgow, will forever have a special place in my heart. After all, it’s the place that has embraced me at such a pivotal point of my life — where I became a more fulfilled version of myself.

If we ever crossed paths dear lover, stranger, friend - I’d like to thank you for making the experience all the more worthwhile, my heart is full beyond measure🤍

Shit, I guess people do make Glasgow after all 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🤍
