This is my brother @happywhale_official floating about with a sperm whale! 🐋

The second interview with him is out! 🎉

My first interview with him was created 2.5 years ago. I figured it was time to create an updated video with all the progress Happywhale has achieved in the last years.

👉🏽 Write ‘Video’ in the comments and I’ll DM it to you! 👈🏽

In this interview, Ted shares an update about the important work Happywhale is doing tracking whales around the world, how successful it’s been in aiding whale science and inspiring stories infused from a lifetime of being a whale watcher.

Other topics include: Ted’s spiritual connection to whale: I always love to infuse spirituality into a topic and although Ted is a scientist, it is truly his love for whales and his love of nature (which our beloved parents taught us) that fuels his work.

Stories: Ted shares inspiring stories to give much needed hope for the state of the world, the ocean and the incredible cetaceans we call whales.

In big sister style, I thought I would get creative and wove in some childhood and family photos. I thought some of you would get a kick of seeing younger kid photos of us. (Yes, there was a time when I towered over Ted, but that day rapidly vanished when he hit the age of 13. Since then, I have needed binoculars to see the top of his head! 🤣)

Words cannot express how PROUD I am of Ted for his success with Happywhale!

I hope you enjoy our conversation.

🐋Siblings who swim with whales! 🔱

Yes, my brother @happywhale_official & I come from an unusual family of safari leading parents (their biz was @cheesemansecologysafaris - check them out)! We grew up with our parents leading whale watching trips in the Monterey Bay Area. What an unusual & epic childhood it was! 🐳

Please check out this UNIQUE opportunity to hear the blending of whale science with a spiritual perspective with this presentation that my brother Ted Cheeseman of @happywhale_official is doing at @thewhaledreamer event online on Sunday, June 14 at 9 am HI time, 12 pm PST & 3 pm EST!

Ted has revolutionized the face of whale science with his AI whale tail app. I will be introducing him as his mermaid author sister.

Please join us! 🌊

There is a time in all of our lives when something speaks to or touches our soul. How did you or will you respond when such moments arrive?

This council is dedicated to this theme and will be filled with stories from people who heard and answered the call of the whales and dolphins.

Gigi Coyle will share about such times in her life and Leah will share about how the call of whales came through storytelling.

Together they will explore what it means to listen and respond, to discover a pathway and reach out to others who have as well. We look to open a continuing conversation for your own inquiry and sharing in this and future councils.

We will also be joined by Ted Cheeseman, creator of Happy Whale, a photo identification system that will make it possible for us to have a better understanding of the whales who we live with and travel through our home waters.

Ted’s work reminds us that knowing the whales we live with, provides more ways to know their stories.

Ted will be joined by his sister, mermaid, and whale dreaming council member, @taracoyote

🐋 Do you know you can track whales by identifying their distinctive fluke marks & characteristics?

It’s true! My brother Dr. Ted Cheeseman of @happywhale_official created an AI identification app to research and track whales migration patterns around the world!

I hope you enjoy this educational carousel to learn about Happywhale and how important whales are to the health of the ocean and the planet.

Every year I do a bday fundraiser for a cause I believe in. I realize IT’S VITALLY IMPORTANT TO GIVE BACK TO important environmental organizations when we can! 🌊

This year I’m raising money for my beloved brothers organization Happywhale - to raise money for whale research & ocean conservation. As I’m a 🧜‍♀️, this is something I’m passionate about!!
