Think back to your school days and your old school textbooks and learning materials. Quite fairly, the aesthetics weren’t the top priority in the designers’ minds – a times-table grid doesn’t NEED to look pretty! That said, the field of communication design is, as the name suggests, about delivering ideas or information… So why should it be boring? Thank goodness for the pervasive appeal of bold, bright, and exciting visuals in sectors like education. Without it, we wouldn’t be able to curate this list of our favourite inspirational, informative, and – critically – fun identities for schools, graduate shows, organisations, platforms and more. Read up, take notes, and enjoy! Discover more at: the-brandidentity.com (link in bio) ——— The Brand Identity is an independent graphic design resource with a worldwide reach, showcasing the top 1% of designers, studios, agencies and type foundries to an ever-growing audience. According to the World Health Organisation, the definition of ‘health’ is “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.” The meaning is expansive, and, like the branding projects we showcase here, acknowledges the nuances of how we define it in today’s world. We take a closer look at a handful of projects that thoughtfully and tastefully unpack various aspects of this complex, layered subject – from tackling stigmas of mental health to embracing the technical innovations in the worlds of menstruation and fertility. Discover more at: the-brandidentity.com (link in bio) ——— The Brand Identity is an independent graphic design resource with a worldwide reach, showcasing the top 1% of designers, studios, agencies and type foundries to an ever-growing audience.
