Rooted & Radiant was truly one of those spaces that felt beautiful from the moment you walked in. Filled with gorgeous women, genuine connections, soft luxury, and such an inspiring energy all around.

I was so honored to be a part of this experience and to bring Bel Flèur Lakay into a room created with so much intention and beauty. Every detail of the space was stunning and thoughtfully curated …truly the perfect venue for hosting meaningful events and experiences.

So grateful for the conversations, the connections, and all of the amazing women I met throughout the evening. ✨🌸

Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in an event called Radiant and Rooted where I had the opportunity to sample delicious food, the bomb drink, make a fragrance, a tea blend and to design a flower arrangement. We came together at the barn and the vat was alive. Thank you to every single person who showed up…familiar faces, new faces, and the three who drove up from Baltimore, Virginia, and Ohio just to put their hands in indigo. That right there tells you everything.

This plant connects us across distance, across time, across lineage. Hearing Owa speak live from Osogbo, Nigeria on the Yoruba and African spiritual traditions tied to indigo…that was a full circle moment. There is always something left to learn and we are honored to hold space for it.

My last day of class was amazing. We shared testimonies and then built birdhouses completely from scratch. I made mine out of cedar because it will eventually sit on my land near the water in St. Mary’s County, so I’m really excited about that.

This trip has truly been an experience filled with growth, reflection, healing, and sisterhood. The RV is all packed up, and in the morning I just have some final cleaning to do before heading back through Virginia and then finally home.

I’m leaving this journey feeling grateful, grounded, and full. The Women’s Carpentry Class at Wild Abundance hard work no doubt worth it.

I received a beautiful flower blessing for my business, Sacredly Sourced Seeds, where I’ll be growing herbs for my healing products like Elderberry Syrup and Self Heal Balm.

Maayan created such a peaceful healing space through flowers, song, intention, and gentle touch. Since my blessing, I haven’t experienced my normal sciatica pain and have felt so much peace. Truly a beautiful and memorable experience. 🌸✨

There's something so peaceful about geocaching! As I navigate through the woods in West By God VA, I love discovering new herbs for my apothecary and herbalism business. Today's cache hunt was the perfect way to get some fresh air before celebrating my gram's 96th birthday.

I am getting my Herbalist Certification this weekend with Abril of @beautyherbsandtea in Sparta, GA. I am tent camping and I am learning about herbs that will “heal you and I one seed at a time” last night we made Elderberry Syrup with Boneset talk about a double whammy of goodness to ward off colds for the season. #oneseedatatime #sassycre8s #sharonh50th @sdheckstall #seedsheal #homesteading
