We played an incredible show on Sunday honoring the life and legacy of John Coltrane!! The band was completely in the zone. We were over capacity with almost 300 people at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Huntington, Long Island just a few miles from the @coltranehome who made this all possible. It was a total honor to participate in one of many celebrations happening this year but especially one that hits so close to home!! (Pun intended)
.
Thank you to @jebpatton @claffybass and @chuckgeezy for bringing their incredible musicianship, soul and spirit to this one. We got a standing ovation and really felt like something special was in the air.
.
The clip never do it justice but this was taken from our opening song and we ended up playing for 90min straight.
.
Thanks again to all involved and hope to see you soon!!

Persona 5 tour of Asia was absolutely incredible!! I’m still processing it all and will be forever. We were all over the map with very close friends and made some very special new ones all while playing for sold out audiences every night. The genius of @crosenmusic is beyond words. All I can say is I’m so grateful, uplifted and completely fried from this tour where I lived 10 lives in three weeks. Super hard to choose the photos from it but I tried to find a few that haven’t been posted yet…..more to come, but for now enjoy!! Whewwwww….

Well this one is kind of deep….
.
Glen Drews was one of the teachers at a great summer jazz program out on Long Island called “Friends Of The Arts” way back when Andrew and I were 14 and 15 years old!! Glen is one of the few guys who’s seen us from the very beginning, in all our glory. Fast forward over 25 years later and yesterday we find ourselves playing together in the Birdland Big Band. It’s happened a bunch of times before and it’s always special. Yesterday Glen just happened to want to take a picture, so here it is!! Thank you Glen for being such a kind and supportive figure to us as well as always playing so great!!
.
I always like to say back then was the one year I was better than Andrew 😜…This guy was and is my hero….if you know, you know.
.
Also we’re looking forward to releasing our second album together at the end of this year so stay tuned for more on that too!!
