Email drop from @unitedhealthcare this morning!

#uhc has been promising all healthcare providers that they were going to reduce the administrative burden, prior authorization requirements across industries and across the country. Did they deliver?

Is your practice on the list of provider types and codes that will be receiving the benefit of prior authorization reduction?

I read it thoroughly this morning, and I can definitely tell you who’s not on the list!

Day in the life of a DPT student~field trip edition🚙

We spent the morning at Hanger Clinic for our prosthetics and orthotics class and got to try on lots of the equipment we’ve been learning about all semester to know how to help our patients more.

Then we went to San Diego Mesa College to meet their PTA students and get to learn all about what they do.

All around a great day📚🦴

Last Night, our co-founders Sean Hill, PT, MPT, FAFS, CSCS, and Bryan Hill, and our Regional Clinic Director Brittany Hollenbeck, PT, DPT, FAFS, CERP spoke in front of @sdsu Physical Therapy students

Having the opportunity to sit on a panel and speak with the next generation of physical therapists was an absolute privilege.

The students asked thoughtful questions about the business side of physical therapy—from what it takes to start and grow a successful practice, to how leaders navigate difficult decisions and adapt to an ever-changing healthcare landscape.

We also had the chance to discuss one of our favorite topics: Applied Functional Science (AFS) and the impact it has had on our clinical approach and professional development.

One of the most meaningful conversations centered around the future of the physical therapy industry, including how evolving insurance models continue to influence patient care and business operations.

It’s inspiring to see so many passionate, curious, and driven future PTs preparing to enter the profession. The future of physical therapy is in good hands.
