some more thoughts about the actual ~racing~ part of race weekend soon, but just popping in and saying hi I’m really happy with this weekend. it was just what I needed 🥲 friends (so many friends!), some of my favorite trails, and the magic that is @chuckanut50 ✨ leaving the weekend happy but also hungry for more

thank you thank you @krissymoehl for everything you put into this race and letting me join the party again this year. thanks for all the love from friends and teammates and major kudos to @mountainoutpost for the livestream (!!!)

8th at Kodiak 100k — wasn’t pretty but CCC ticket punched 🫡
had a really excellent 38 miles but altitude nausea caught up to me at Snow Summit. had a lovely puke sesh and committed myself to finishing it out as long as I was still in the top ten. eventually caught a second wind around mile 50 and started running again, but, yeah, not really what I hoped for. I’m pretty bummed with the result since I wanted so much more out of myself and I know the fitness was/is there. something new comes with every 100k but it also feels like a distance I’m meant for so I’m already excited for the next one.
a long list of thank yous but particularly to @barrett_gray for crewing, @clara2froesch for being extra crew and the best hype gal, the whole @brookstrailrunners team but especially @its_jaybird & @mendozarunner for coming out to the final aid station, @corrinemalcolm keeping me mentally sane the last few weeks, and an infinite list of friends on course or at home
we’ll get ‘em next time!

We are proud of our all-inclusive vibes at our races, but want to give a special shout-out to some incredibly fast humans that displayed simply unbelievable athleticism.

On the women’s side, @sea.devoe led the way to the top of Grubstake Peak and maintained that lead until the final meter, battling it out with @_lexi_aragon in an unforgettable sprint finish. Alexa managed to break the tape first, securing the victory, followed by Claire and @doingfunshit, respectively. This was an instant classic, a finish that will go down as one of the tightest in Cirque Series history.

On the men’s side, @alexkingruns put a sizable gap on the field while climbing and never relinquished his lead. He was followed by @liamruns and @noah_dusseau in second and third, respectively.

Congratulations to our Pro Crystal Mountain Podium!

The overall 2025 Series LEADERBOARD is included on the last slide. #pushpeaks #CrystalMountain
