@liamnolan123 Abu Dhabi Challenge Winner @hotelplannertour 🏆🥇

Surreal to see someone who I grew up with playing junior golf work his way through the ranks. Representing Ireland, playing a Walker Cup, an Open Championship and Irish Open and now a winner on tour. Every year he has continued to get better and this is so well deserved.

So enjoyable always to be a part of a great team with Kenny Fahy, @sean.nohilly and always huge support from friends and family.

One of many players from the west of Ireland who are showing the next generation that it really is possible to become a great player coming from here.

Well done guys, enjoy this 👊🏼👊🏼

🏆 CHAMPION IN ABU DHABI! 🇦🇪☘️

A huge congratulations to our client Liam Nolan, who has claimed his first professional victory at the Abu Dhabi Challenge on the HotelPlanner Tour!

A special moment and a massive milestone for Liam, who has worked incredibly hard to get to this point.

First win as a professional — and hopefully the first of many.

Who’d have thought the man from cold, wet and windy Galway would win his first title in the dry scintillating heat of the UAE!

We couldn’t be prouder.

Abu Dhabi Challenge Champion, Liam Nolan. 🏆☘️

🗣"I can hit the shots they hit, I can hole the putts they hole... they're just the best in the world at doing it, and I'm looking forward to getting a little bit better"

"I haven't been this nervous at a tournament in a long time... I just try to focus on my breathing and smiling and having plenty of chats with my caddy"

Galway golfer Liam Nolan reflects on a memorable weekend at the Amgen Irish Open at Doonbeg, breaking down how he managed the pressure of playing close to home, his partnership with caddy Sean Nohilly, and taking confidence from competing alongside the world's best.
