We are not just all eating this trip to Mexico City. This is the Pyramid of the Moon. 28 years ago I came with my sister and mom and we were able to climb this all the way to the top. Now they don’t let people climb at all. While it is a UNESCO site, Most of the site is archeologist “reconstruction” done in the 1960’s and some of the things they thought 28 years ago are wrong. We had a wonderful guide who pointed out these pyramids are sacred mountains and they line up with the real mountains. They are all abode inside. We find ourselves thinking of Taos Pueblo and other pre Hispanic pueblos in southwest US that we have visited and how they are different from these. Originally these were built in around 80 AD. I say these because this is one HUGE site that once had 20,000 inhabitants.

That was the best meal I have had maybe ever. This is oxtail taco with mole on a blue corn tortilla with edible flowers. Number 7 of the best restaurants in the world. Truly spectacular meal.

Getting ready for the next tournament can mean practicing short game on slow greens. We had a lot of fun playing extra skinny shots with the M1s. #austin #butlerpark #pitchandputt #golfballs #golfkids #kidsgolf #juniorgolf #kidgolfer #practicemakesprogress #golfswing #golfstagram #golfkid #golflife #golfinglife #golf #pgajuniorleague
