Oooh, shall I post for film Friday? I’ve been so busy being running a photography business that I forgot I am a photographer. 😂😂 I still have so much to share from all sorts of adventures and play, but what I had handy was the rest of my #Rolleiflex images from Mexico City. I think mostly on #portra800. This baby hasn’t worked since that trip, which is just the saddest. Guess I’m gonna have to fix her. . Missing all my friends and all the beautiful places I visited in CDMX. . “Courage is not only the willingness to face uncertainty but to embrace it, to collaborate with it.” David DuChemin Welcome to the Fearless Film Photographers. What a trip with a great group of somewhat strangers. I knew a couple peeps going in but when you gather a group of like minded folks who all love photography and gather in a place that is screaming to be shot good things just ensue. We’re super close to announcing the 2027 lineup for @filmschoolroadtrip. 10 locations around the globe, 9 attendees, me & 2 peeps from @thefindlab. 2027 we’re gonna be road trippin! Taken last month on my #canon1v on #kodakultramax400 dev/scanned by me at #thefindlab

Color is up next. @filmschoolroadtrip Norway. Full of fjords, crazy tunnels, incredible food (save yourself and don’t try the whale jerky), and damn good company. #canon1v #ilfordxp2 #thefindlab

"Murph" 2026 was different this year. Monday's we prepped. New friends, old friends joined us. All weekend long, we showed up when we could to pay our respect to those who gave everything for us. Grateful for our gift of fitness, community, and time to keep moving forward. #memorial #murph #mayhemathlete #reptheeagle #orlandocrossfit

Shot a ton on the new to me Mamiya C330 Pro F with an 80mm blue dot lens and realized I wanted the Pro S which promptly was acquired after shooting a good 30 rolls through this one. The Pro S has a considerably brighter focusing screen, and the film back opens in a way that seems considerably less dangerous. Plus it’s a little lighter as well. I also swapped out the wlf (which also is an upgrade) for the metered chimney as it has an incredible diopter on it but the irony is I’ll never use the meter in it. That diopter is just great for my old eyes. I shot a myriad of film, but most noted was Portra 160 rated at 200 and pushed 1 stop. The colors are just 🤌🏽. Makes sense as that is what I shot all the time when I lived in Hawaii. Puerto Rico literally looks and feels just like the north shore of Oahu, specifically Hauula where I used to live. It is truly uncanny. Now to spend some time with 250mm, 105mm, 65mm & 55mm that came with it. We’re headed back to Puerto Rico for @filmschoolroadtrip Jan 15th-18th 2027. Itinerary & details in the link in profile. #mamiyac330prof #kodakportra160 #kodakportra400 #kodakgoldpushed1stop #thefindlab

That time in Mexico when my friends were taking pictures of me taking pictures of them, which is a pretty regular occurrence…and I thought I had doubles in my camera but I did not. Hilariously on brand for them to both be taking a 35mm picture, and then switch to waist-level viewfinder 120. Traveling with film peeps is something else. . Miss you @karmenmeyerphotography and @seatell . #portra400 @thefindlab . “Courage is not only the willingness to face uncertainty but to embrace it, to collaborate with it.” David DuChemin Welcome to the Fearless Film Photographers. Some black and white in Cayoacan with some of my favorite people and some beautiful places. I’ve been here before, but I did not linger, and this time it felt good to stay a bit and be still. . #trix400 #rolleiflex28f
