Adoptable Seattle Humane pup, Benny, on field trip.

1 year, 1 month, 71 lbs. Not much of still photo here because this guy was full of action, not much laying down or even sitting, definitely not more than a minute or two.

Plenty of running, zoomies. Even with this much activity for over 2 hours, he barely laid down in the car on the way back 😂

He’d definitely benefit from a good sized yard.

If you like ridiculousness and a whole lotta cute, ask to meet Azuki. He was on campus for the weekend with ZERO adoption interest..say what? He has been interactive, sweet and goofy, but also self-entertained when needed. He may bear a resemblance to a honey badger, but does not want that solitary life; this dog has FOMO and wants to be where the party"s at. He is heading back to foster today, but the adoption team (adoption@seattlehumane.org) can set up a time to meet this handsome, 2-year-old dude.

Tatum's passing happened while I was taking a break and im so sorry @hi.this.is.tatum that I wasn't here to acknowledge it at the time.
Im convinced he chose October because its #PitbullAwarenessMonth
What a dog and he brought so much happiness and joy to Social Media.

I know! In honor of Tatum, head to your shelter and adopt a #Pibble!
Love them, spoil them, you are their whole world.

Toni is a sensitive mellow fella looking for his forever home through Seattle Humane in Bellevue, Wa. Here’s what I think you should know about Toni:
• Toni’s 3 favorite activities are: napping, snoozing, and lounging
• Toni scares easily, especially with noises, so he’s looking for a quiet home with patient adopters
• Toni has lived with another dog in the past: he preferred to just coexist rather than be BFFs
• His foster parent @jessicrast says he is perfectly house trained and just sleeps when she leaves the house

This summer, I wanted to use racing to make a difference beyond the track. I got to visit Seattle Humane and celebrate something pretty special. Together with my sponsors, we raised over $65,000 to support the animals they care for.

This one means a lot to me. My first dog, Velma, came from Seattle Humane, so I’ve seen firsthand the impact they make. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and getting to support an organization right here in my community has been awesome.

Pretty cool to see what racing can do beyond the track.

Yesterday, I was the solo flight crew for a @wingsofrescue_official mission, loading and flying 30 large-breed dogs and 25 cats from Riverside to @seattlehumane . Large dogs can be especially hard to place here in Los Angeles, so getting them to Seattle, where they have a great chance of being adopted, gives them a fresh start.

One of those dogs spent five hours on my lap. We were both wedged into a position that wasn’t exactly comfortable, but she never complained or fussed. We just enjoyed each other’s company, and the flight flew by.

I’ve flown thousands of dogs with Wings of Rescue, and every once in a while, one makes it impossible to say goodbye. I think I met my soul dog yesterday. She may be making one more trip south—this time to join my other two rescues and become part of our tribe. ❤️🐾✈️ #letthefurfly
