🛠️ FJ62 — @starsoverland 💯.

2 years ago, the gent that is @andrewofarabia put me in touch with the team @starsoverland. The original fuel tank for the FJ62 was rusty and leaky! A custom OEM spec aluminium fuel tank was fabricated by @starsoverland , built with internal baffles for strength and reliable fuel delivery. 🇦🇪

This FJ62 has been rebuilt with a focus on keeping the classic character while upgrading the mechanicals for serious reliability and drivability.

OMAN 🇴🇲 | LC300

Chasing the Khareef through Salalah. 🌧️🌿

@toyotauae 🇦🇪💕
From a stock daily driver to a collection of Land Cruiser projects, the journey has been all about keeping legends alive.

🚙 Toyota Journey – So Far

Started with a passion for classic Toyotas and ended up building machines that tell a story.

• 1994 LC80 VX-Limited — rebuilt from the ground up with OEM-focused mechanical restoration, lockers, suspension, stainless fuel tank, exhaust, winch, and countless hours chasing perfection.

• 1989 FJ62 Restomod — classic 60 Series soul with a 1FZ-FE heart, 5-speed manual, custom Scottish interior, Haltech management, and modern reliability.

• 2022 LC71 SWB — simple, capable, and built for everyday adventures around Abu Dhabi and beyond.

Thousands of kilometres.
Countless workshop visits.
Late-night research.
New friendships.
Lessons learned.

Not just vehicles — memories, road trips, desert sunsets, coffee stops, breakdowns, recoveries, and stories that will last a lifetime.

🇦🇪 From Abu Dhabi roads to desert tracks, the Toyota journey continues.

@ahmedbakhsh.12 ❤️ FZJ80💪🏽
Back on the road.

The LC80 is home from @ahmedbakhsh.12 #dubai after some much-needed maintenance.

✅ 3 fuel injectors replaced
✅ PCV valve replaced
✅ Fresh 20W-50 engine oil

The work isn’t finished yet. The plan is to put some miles on it, monitor how it behaves, then head back for a follow-up inspection in a few days. Next on the list is replacing the starter motor sourced from @nissan_toyota_alwasim_parts .

Owning a high-mileage 1FZ-FE isn’t about shortcuts—it’s about staying ahead of maintenance and keeping a legend running the way it should.
