Well, as a special thank you to those on my NO SKY BUT RED ARC team, I’ve decided to do something special—give them a sneak peak into book 2 of the Oracle Series.

I have a world of gratitude for their support. And I can’t wait to conquer the world with them!

P.S. I’m still offering ARCs of NO SKY BUT RED (Book 1) to a select number of people. DM if you’re interested.

This was honestly such a big challenge but again very fun to do.

Thank you @book.arcana for tagging me.

The Scavenger Hunt Stack:

The oldest owned: The Poetical Works of Percy Bysshe Shelley

The newest owned: Malice by John Gwynn’s

The shortest owned: Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx

The longest owned: Wind and Truth by Brandon Sanderson

The nicest/favourite (sprayed edge): An omnibus of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s short stories and a novel.

The most intimidating: The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

And the trinkets: My bookish trinket’s usually come in the form of jewelry, accessories, art, or patches and pins on my jean jacket, but nothing on my shelves themselves.

Also passing the tag along to anyone who wants to do this, good luck and have fun.

This was a challenge. Over the years I have managed to hunt and snatch several great deals, with regard to old vintage books. It all started with me buying a Pride and Prejudice book for pennies, my bookish friends, I mean pennies, yes you read that right, 50 pence to be exact. It was so damaged with staines, almost torn pages, etc. After some love and care, it’s one of those books that I adore with beautiful illustration. Maybe I’ll to a vintage appreciation video one day of all my old beauties.

This one is The Poetical Works of Percy Bysshe Shelley published by Frederick Warne and Co, in their Chandon Classics series, apparently a popular collection of “low-cost” classics. Knowing that this is “low-cost” makes me wonder how books are being sold over 30€/£/$ and they are made so cheaply, yet this beauty has now survived, (give or take a few years) 150 years and it’s still in pristine condition.

What I’ve learned, in my internet sleuthing, is that this book is published between 1872 - 1878, the co-publishers were Scribner, Wilford and Armstrong, the partnership between the London and New York firms ended under this name in 1878, after which they changed their name to Charles Scribner’s Sons and A.C. Armstrong & Sons in 1979. So from here we can officially say that it was published between 1872 and 1878 ma

🌈 Rainbow Stack 🌈

Thank you @book.arcana for the tag. They aren't as pretty as your sprayed edges. 🫣

This challenge was quite difficult.

I pulled the only yellow and orange books I had. 😂

Also, if I hadn't bought Hwang Bo-Reum book #welcometothehyunamdongbookshop last week, I wouldn't have been able to do this challenge. 🫢 I still feel the indigo and violet aren't a hundred precent match, 🤷🏻‍♀️ but your girl had no other choice. 😂

Still a really cool challenge.

Tag! You guys are it and have fun. 😉😄

Thanks to @bigjreads for tagging me in the #fullname bookstagram challenge!

Honestly if it wasn't for the Michael Vey Series this would've been such a short list lol.

****Note! In the first image the book on the very bottom is Magnus Chase and The Gods of Asgard - Sword of the Summer by Rick Riordan. I also own the Percy Jackson series but they are in my storage since I'm still building my shelf so they are here in spirit.

List of books:
- Don Quijote De La Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes (spanish edition).
- The Courting of Bristol Keats by Mary E. Pearson.
- The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick
- Michael Vey Series by Richard Paul Evans - Books 1 thru 8 (there are more in the series but those are the ones i have)
- Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan (storage)

I also tagged other creators to join in this awesome book challenge!
