We’re thrilled to finally reveal the twelve participants of the 20th edition of Bridging the Gap! 💫

This year we received a high number of applications of an exceptional standard. The shortlisted filmmakers distinguished themselves for the inventiveness of their proposals and their potential in challenging the documentary form.

Over the next three months, the participants will develop their ideas through a series of workshops, masterclasses and additional bespoke training. Following the development stage, each filmmaker will be pitching their project to a panel of experts in January 2023.

Read more about the participants via the link in bio ⤴

#BridgingtheGap is supported by @screenscots and @northernirelandscreen

Have you already started feeling anxiety kicking in as everybody’s sharing about their new year's resolutions, productive first day and you’re just ol’ good netflix’n’chill self?

All new year resolution stuff might feel daunting/ overwhelming or even worrying as our experience from the past has good proof that we’ll abandon our resolutions as soon as the opportunity arises so why bother?

Or I didn’t manage to plan it all out before the New Year so why bother ?

It’s yet another illusion humans create for themselves…

Well yeah, everything’s an illusion in a way, it’s up to us to choose our illusions and the energy we give them.

The start of a New Year is a good opportunity to allow oneself to initiate a new beginning very personally created by yourself for yourself. Taking time to listen to ourselves deeply, to empower one’s own truth and join the collectively gathered momentum of new energy to leave what doesn’t serve behind and simply intend to bring forth what our heart desires.

In order to enter new realms and to truly live according to our heart's desires we gotta ONCE AND FOR ALL drop the past and everything that happened in it.

𝕀 𝕒𝕞 𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒 𝕟𝕖𝕨 𝕞𝕖, 𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕞𝕪 𝕗𝕒𝕚𝕝𝕖𝕕 𝕒𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕞𝕡𝕥𝕤 𝕗𝕣𝕠𝕞 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕡𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕟’𝕥 𝕧𝕒𝕝𝕚𝕕 𝕠𝕣 𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕧𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕚𝕟 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕩𝕥.

We come up with lists of resolutions without turning inward and truly connecting with our intuition, letting it guide us to the path of least resistance and joy.

Quite often we do things that do not align with our core values & beliefs and our lives are incoherent, crippled by procrastination, etc.

In my gentle self reflective guide I share some of the tips / techniques, supah small biddy bits, that one can do to guide themselves inward and build a coherence bridge between our internal desires and external behaviours.

Small little things are the things that bring most powerful magic, don’t underestimate it!

Plus, January is a perfect time to really take time and slowly shift things around. Transition doesn’t happen overnight so take the time to initiate the change - at your own pace -

This year’s been abundantly beautiful in many ways, but also intensively heavy on the heart.
•
What happens when most of distractions are eliminated involuntarily, natural joys suspended, love lost?

-All the subconscious greatness comes to the surface. Once again knocking on the soul, asking to be integrated.
👁
November is especially challenging with its dark, seductive cycle, tempting one to exist in binary illusions of personal limitations.

But December, on the other hand, is a good moment to reflect, recalibrate and prepare for the new beginning, for the new you.

Even if symbolically, the whole world marks January as the New Year, hence the New Beginning.

🧿

Ultimately, this time has a great momentum within collective energy and consciousness, which is easily accessible to tap into.

As I am reviewing my state of being and reminding things forgotten, cosy details and symbolic ways of ‘pick me up’ rituals, I thought I’d share it with others.

Maybe some of you could do with a gentle suggestive guide of finding the way back home
