Porcelain lights.
Now on show during DDW26 @sectie_c

A beautiful starting point for further explorations into porcelain, light and colour. With plenty more to discover and probably a little more trial and error along the way ..

Some places remain a home long after we have left them.

Sectie-C was where my practice began. It was a place where I worked, experimented, struggled, grew, and shared many meaningful moments with wonderful people. Although I no longer live in Eindhoven, the place and its community continue to shape who I am and how I work.

This year marks the 10th year of my practice, so it feels especially meaningful to present my work again where it all started. As I could not return to Eindhoven myself, the artwork travelled there in my place.

The sculpture carries itself, changes hands, changes form, and briefly finds a place before moving again. Its journey reflects something of my own relationship with Sectie-C. I may no longer reside there, but a part of me remains with the place and the people who once made it feel like home.

A sculpture for a nomad, unable to fully settle down amid the uncertainty of the next move. Through transition, the material, the form, and the artist are shaped.
