THIS WEDNESDAY!!! Pacific Roots Open Mic #10 will be held at Ice Breakers in Tafuna! Doors open at 7, performances start at 7:30.

We had a temporary delay due to me being locked down at moekasi for 5 weeks (for the Flag Day fautasi races). Now that the races are finished, let's get down to business.

PROM is a monthly, "no rules" talent night, specifically catered to our young adults. You have 5 minutes to perform anything you want to express on stage. So all you high school graduates under 21 that haven't checked us out yet, come through! This a FREE event, but come early as chairs run out quick. We hosted over 90 kids at our last open mic.

A bunch of our regular performers have been hitting me up. This is shaping to be our biggest and probably one of the best PROM's yet so don't miss out. Let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, see y'all this Wednesday! ✨🇦🇸🎤🎨🌴

Pacific Roots Open Mic aka PROM #9 is going down tomorrow night at Ice Breakers! Doors open at 7, performances start at 7:30. We've grown together as a group so much this past year, I can't wait to see and show y'all the talent that will be hitting the stage tomorrow night!
Pictured above are the last two months at PROM. As always, this is a free monthly event targeted for our local, young adult demographics. Besides a 5 minute limit per talent, there are no rules as far as performances go. We've had everything from original/covers of poetry, singing, rapping, stand up comedy, dancing, magic, drumming, acoustics, instrumentals, and more!

Hmu if you have any questions. PROM starts tomorrow night at 7:30! See y'all at Ice Breakers! #changinglives

Another bucket list goal completed! My uso Iosefa Masalosalo @sefam just dropped his latest mixtape entitled "The Pinktape" on Soundcloud this morning.

Sefa is easily one of the most gifted Samoan lyricists I know. I've always believed in him since our days at ASCC where he would hustle cd's for chicken katsu plates. So when he asked me a few weeks ago to finish off a song of his, I gladly obliged.

I've always wanted to, but have never attempted to make poetry over a beat (or even record a song for that matter). It was a little difficult rushing the project to find my element and flowing over the beat, but everything turned out better than I could have ever dreamed about. I haven't felt this way about a song in years. This track (even before I hopped on) is bloody beautiful.

Our track link is below/in my header, along with the rest of his mixtape aka "The Pinktape". Don't sleep on it. Let me know your thoughts about the track/tape.
