Lool 2009, @tiltwoparties initially started out as a multi genre rave with a prime focus on house/funky at midnight.. shit was not easy on a Monday and out of the 4 nights I did 2 we closed up early.. a learning curve, I had to go back to the drawing board and think about how i can really make this work on a weeknight, I grabbed influences from various places including the late Shaun Bloodworth in artist photography, how Djoon Club in Paris operated and how music was being appreciated in smaller venues in London and more importantly who was I as a DJ, what did I represent by amalgamating my name to Sef Kombo, I worked on a plan and thankfully Ruby Lo helped me to relaunch the night in 2010 so cheers Daniel wherever you are! It’s been one hell of a ride up to now, so I thank you all.. celebration time tomorrow night at #TilTwoClassics
