Asking for help is not a weakness - it’s a courageous step toward healing and growth.

It takes immense strength to acknowledge when we need support, especially for those battling anxiety.

Remember, you’re not alone in this journey.

Everyone faces challenges, and seeking assistance is a natural part of being human.

Whether it’s reaching out to a friend, confiding in a loved one, or seeking professional guidance, know that it’s okay to lean on others.

Your feelings are valid, and by seeking help, you’re taking control of your well-being.

Embrace vulnerability, for it fosters connection and understanding.

Together, we can overcome obstacles and navigate life’s ups and downs.

You deserve support, kindness, and compassion—don’t hesitate to ask for it.

Hey HOEMies! We hope exam season is going well so far and you’re all taking care of yourselves! For those of you who missed the Exam Stress Workshop last week, we wanted to share some quick tips to help you get through exams feeling grounded and healthy:

1. Remember that stress is not all bad. It’s completely natural and is trying to protect us! What we want to learn to do is balance our stress so that it’s neither too low or too high.

2. Watch for common “thinking traps” when it comes to exam stress. Noticing these common thinking traps can guide us toward more helpful and balanced thoughts.

3. Remember that avoidance strategies (procrastinating, distracting ourselves, etc.) can be helpful in the short term, but long-term make stress more intense.

4. Consider your learning style - for example, if you like to move around when you’re studying, allow yourself to do that!

5. Give yourself breaks. We need to feel healthy in all areas of our life to succeed.

Good luck, HOEMies ❤️

sometimes we can brush things that truly bother us under the rug. but you alleviate worries when you make space for, and honor how you truly feel. it’s ok and that means hearing yourself - your inner voice. When you do this, you are building an intimate relationship and respect with Self 🫶🏽

Taking breaks is crucial for maintaining balance and productivity. They restore energy, improve focus, prevent burnout, boost creativity, and enhance decision-making. In essence, taking breaks isn’t just okay—it’s essential for overall well-being and success. 😊 #motivation #MSD
