What a year. Bring on 2026!! 🎇 2025 has been a journey of ups and downs for many of us. But we showed up anyway. As fathers, partners, brothers, protectors and providers. These brave Tāne chose to break the silence and speak from their hearts. The team @menmakingmiles are forever grateful and inspired by the incredible men who bless our classes with their stories and raw vulnerability. There’s a shift happening here and we couldn’t be more proud. Sincerely, thank you to all the men who have attended our kaupapa and the amazing families and friends who continue support us. We couldn’t do this without you! 💚🙏🏾 Have a blessed holiday season, much love from the team @menmakingmiles @dunk.lyons @eruera_piwari @avkarati @heysambo @tonycaudwell1991 #menmakingmiles #mensmentalhealth #mentalhealth #2025recap

Still buzzing from the Seeds of Life wānanga 🌱 One of the main highlights shared from everyone was being apart of the LIVE @planting.seeds.podcast episode. The setting was special, the alignment to the theme of authenticity, engaging whānau through the experiences and connections and just to do it while IN wānanga together was mean 🔥 Grateful to @nick_of_origin for being our guest and to @toi.maarama for capturing the moments. Where we going to post up next? #PlantingSeeds #SeedsofLife #SeedsofSelf

MEN MAKING MILES 100th Class milestone event! 💚 100 classes. 100 spaces of brotherhood. 100 milestones that remind us why @menmakingmiles exists. Over 35 men stood with us for this one, joined by family, friends, children, and a special guest appearance from the legendary @tikitaane. From fun games for the kids to a shared barbecue, the energy was nothing short of powerful. A massive thank you to the Team @menmakingmiles: @dunk.lyons @eppy_187 @avkarati @heysambo @tonycaudwell1991 – for holding this kaupapa strong, and a very special thank you to @axis_dj and @tikitaane for coming through to support us. To every family and friend who have come to share this experience, and to the countless men who have stepped into this space over the years – this milestone belongs to you too. This journey continues because we all believe one truth: “It’s not weak to speak” 🖤 #menmakingmiles #mentalhealthmatters #community #brotherhood #itsnotweaktospeak #mentalhealth #motivation #unleashedtrainingacademy

First session done and dusted! Last night was special. Our debut collab with @barberspenceandco and @menmakingmiles marked the first Men Making Miles x BarberSpence & Co. sharing session. Life’s about creating memorable moments and this was one for the books! A group of men came together, opened up, and proved that real strength is found in vulnerability. Spaces like these matter — because men’s mental health matters. Respect to the brothers for showing up and sharing your stories. Through the community we are building we can shed light where it matters and guide others through their darkest days. Life can be incredibly hard for a man, but together with love and respect, we can prosper! This is just the beginning. 🖤 #menmakingmiles #mensmentalhealth #community #brotherhood #menssupport #unleashedtrainingacademy

KAI MAI KAI ATU “I am not who I think I am,I’m not who you think I am, I am who I think you think I am” choose in this moment to be your true selves, the you! Kei tua i to kiri - the identity taukiri, the real me beyond the mask. I had the privilege to be apart of this beautiful wānanga as a Pou a support! A post of safety and guidance for these kings. I am truly grateful for the opportunity and experience to share my knowledge but more so hold space for these tāne🙏🏽 I keep hearing this quote thrown around “A leopard never changes its spots” referring to men or woman can’t change their bad habit’s or shortfalls, I say bullshit! men can change! We not dealing with leopards we are dealing with people! #mentalhealth #mensmentalhealthawareness #changeiscoming #forgiveness #love #wananga #standtall #kings

Te Ara Hou started 4 years ago with one purpose: to create a new path for people to explore, connect, and dive deeper into themselves - while sharing the journey alongside like-minded individuals 🫶🏼 Watching it grow and evolve has been both humbling and exciting. It’s more than just a kaupapa .... it’s a whānau 💙 #TeAraHou

A weekend to remember and the first step of many ❤️‍🔥 Our intentions were clear: to create an incredible experience and ensure that everyone felt the Te Ara Hou frequency. We provided whānau with a space to be seen and heard. From sharing mātauranga and personal stories to building connections with each other and the taiao, trusting the process and themselves with open minds and hearts. We pushed through breakdowns and celebrated breakthroughs - what a privilege to be apart of. Proper proud of everyone and the team for making it what it was. Excited to build upon this with reflecting on went well and what could be done better, but for now, I’m just soaking it all in 💙 #TeAraHou
