Day 2 of @bewell.af 🤍 If this past weekend reminded me of anything, it’s that we don’t have to fit into one box. We can be mothers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and a million other things all at once. And being surrounded by women who are doing just that was SO inspiring. And it reminded me of they can do, I can, too. 🥹

Here’s to defining success and fulfillment on OUR own terms. 🤍

Some weekends stay with you long after you’ve unpacked. WellAF was one of them.

The entire event was so beautifully curated. Women sharing what they know, being honest about what they’re navigating, and making room for real connection. I kept thinking, we need more of this. I NEED more of this.

I was so honored to join the stage with @shazandkiks, @mego, @ava.perki, and @emilylfoley to unpacking beauty fact versus fiction, what clean beauty is and is not, and why labels matter for what we put IN and ON our bodies.

We listened experts about women’s health and hormones, mental health, and the food we eat with the women who grow it. There was so much to take in and learn from one another. And between the panels and masterclasses came tea, olive oil cheers, a BBQ beneath the trees, and conversations that are still going in our DMs and texts. That is the power of women coming together with open hearts and minds, without judgment.

What I’m most grateful for are the friendships. I met women I want to keep learning from, laughing with, and making time for. Friendships I plan to nurture well beyond this weekend.
I came home reminded that caring for ourselves, mind, body, and soul, includes making room for one another.

Thank you, @bewell.af, for sponsoring this event, for bringing us together with such thought and care. This was without a doubt one of the most incredible events I have ever attended. TRULY. My heart is full. 🤍

Sharing is the new black.
The era of gatekeeping is over.
@bewell.af is using new media to empower, inform and educate women — to remind us that we are not alone.
This weekend, I was reminded of my own power (slide 8) and the collective power of women when we gather with a common goal.
Here’s to the beginning of something new, intentional & for the health and well-being of all 🩷 Thank you for the invitation.

WellAF, indeed 🤘🏼 here’s everything I learned from @bewell.af ‘s WellAF 2026 Conference.

I had the pleasure of moderating their mental health panel where we talked about finding yourself, finding your community and taking care of your mental health as a creator in the online space 🧠

October is Menopause Awareness Month AND Pharmacist’s Month- what a perfect merging for me.

As a podcast host, I have been so blessed to have amazing guests on the Women Mastering Midlife Podcast as we enter into 120+ episodes recorded.

Selfishly, I look at it as my opportunity to meet some of the nose brilliant people in midlife women’s health and life space. I do not take it for granted that I’ve made these connections from my little office and a webcam.

I’m not finished yet- there are so many more exciting things coming - I feel like the episodes I mentioned in my book are just scratching the surface of what I could talk about in another.

Comment PREORDER now and I’ll send you the link to grab your copy of my book baby out October 20!

As Erica Sloan reports in the Washington Post, Maryland became the first state to require that mammogram results include information about breast arterial calcification (BAC), which is calcium buildup in the small arteries of the breast. Under a law that took effect October 1, the results letter tells women that BAC is common and may signal a higher risk of heart disease. It also urges them to talk with their physician about whether more testing makes sense. Breast density reporting started the same way, with state laws, before a federal rule made it nationwide. Experts expect BAC reporting to follow that path.

BAC has always shown up on mammograms. It has nothing to do with breast cancer, so it is often treated as harmless and left off the report. A 2026 analysis of 45 studies and nearly 69,000 women found BAC on about 1 in 6 mammograms and linked it to higher rates of heart disease and stroke. In one study of women in their 60s and 70s, those with BAC were about 50% more likely to have a heart attack or stroke, or to die from heart disease, after accounting for other risk factors. Unlike the plaque that clogs heart arteries, the calcium in BAC sits deeper in the artery wall and makes it stiff. BAC is more common in women with diabetes or high blood pressure, and researchers think it may reflect years of these conditions straining the heart and blood vessels.

Reporting BAC could turn the mammogram into a two-for-one. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women, yet many women worry more about breast cancer and may be more likely to show up for a mammogram than for a heart checkup.

Not everyone is on board. Two breast radiologists at Johns Hopkins testified that the law is premature, in part because there’s no clear next step for a woman who learns she has BAC. No trial has yet shown that acting on a BAC finding prevents heart attacks or strokes. Women do want to know, though: in a survey at one New York hospital, 96% of mammography patients said they’d want BAC in their report.

If your report shows BAC, it’s a good reason to talk with a clinician about your heart risk, including blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and family history.

Ever feel like brain fog is your constant companion?

Drop a comment if you’ve felt this too!

It’s easy to blame brain fog for everything, but what if it’s really just a sign that we’re overworked and overwhelmed?

Dr. Sarah Berg dives deep into the chicken-and-egg dilemma: does our chaotic life lead to brain fog, or is it the other way around? Stress builds on stress, and it’s hard to untangle the two.

What if better habits could help? It’s a complex issue that deserves more attention, yet it often gets overlooked in research.

Let’s start the conversation! What’s your experience with brain fog?

We did it! 🎉👏🏾🏃🏽‍♀️

I was proud to participate in the Millions 4 Menopause 5K with Mpowered Menopause. And, I was so excited to walk with several members of the Women’s Health Advocates NY chapter.

This wasn’t just a walk or a run. It was a reminder that every step, every story, and every conversation can help dismantle the stigma surrounding perimenopause and menopause.

Grateful for all who showed up to raise visibility and critical support for menopause research.

Here’s to continuing the conversation, advancing the research, and ensuring women do not have to navigate this journey alone.

Let’s run it back to one of the best days in September ⏪…
Movement started the morning, conversation carried it forward, and community made it one to remember. The official launch of @healthfulpodcast w/ @norahodonnell was packed with good vibes and a beautiful reminder that movement has a way of bringing people together.

Having the opportunity to combine two things Norah and I both love to do—move and connect through meaningful conversation—made this launch extra special. After 13 years training together, getting to celebrate another chapter in Norah’s already incredible career alongside her was pretty amazing.

We moved, we laughed, we learned , we snacked, we talked… and concluded the day with a LIVE podcast recording with @alyraisman . A FULLY STOKED experience indeed!

Now the important question: where should we take this next? 👀
