My debut EP, 'Euphoria', is FINALLY out!!! v

5 original songs and a beautiful concept about the search for the true meaning of "Euphoria". Well, what is it? Listen to the EP and find out for yourself ;)

I want to thank everyone who was involved in this project, everyone who believed and helped me transform this EP into something I could never have imagined:
@pedro_m_g_moreira @barbatanasm @cascaisjovem @selftransforming @joaosfgomes @miguelangelo.oficial @_.zunno._ @loingang02 @arroz_laulau @suki_afterhours @tiotigito

It's been quite a journey. This project began when I started making music and ended after 4 years of slow but careful and passionate development. Euphoria literally grew with me; as I honed my skills, I refined Euphoria, bit by bit. So, in a way, this is an amateur/professional project that incorporates both my first steps as a music producer and songwriter, as well as the various skills I've developed over the years.

I still have a lot to learn (well, obviously), I even feel like I've already taken a big step, in terms of taste and skills, after finishing this EP, a step that will certainly be reflected in my future projects. This is the beginning of my career, and only the very start so, don't forget to follow me on socials to stay updated on my next stuff, 'cause there's A LOT more to come.

Much ❤️,
- MELOHMY

I’ve been putting off making this post in part because I don’t want to fully admit it’s over - but I had the absolute joy of putting on my very first ever exhibition just this past March! Swipe for a little peek into the night! The evening went so much better than I could’ve even hoped and looking back at a few of these pictures is making me so wistful, ah!

I can only imagine what my younger self would be thinking now - growing up I didn’t even really let myself wish to become an artist, so getting this far and hitting this huge personal milestone is pretty overwhelming. Even more so because I’m so aware of how this achievement is not only a testament to the work and passion I’ve been putting into my work, but it’s also a loud display of how loved and supported I am.

This exhibition wouldn’t have been possible without the support of so many forces moving in my favour, and I am so grateful to be held by community like this.

@artistally.fund thank you for believing in my work enough to fund this entire exhibition!
@selftransforming thank you for freezing these precious memories in time for me with your gorgeous photography throughout the entire night
@elipse.catering thank you for the incredible spread of vegan deliciousness
@queerasfuck.pt thank you for recognising my value when I had just started working here in Lisbon, your friendship and solidarity has meant so much to me
@ilgaportugal thank you not only for exhibiting my work and hosting this wonderful event, but for the entire past year of working together! It has been a dream!
@ale.atorio.ink - thank you for manning the stall all night so I could just enjoy the launch event (and for planning the celebration dinner)!
And a special thank you to my wonderful sister who flew across an ocean to be there, and my family who called in!

I’ll be posting a few more pictures and videos about the day and doing lots of reminiscing, as well as hopefully sharing more details on all the paintings themselves soon (because I still haven’t shared those online yet)!

"Everything" is out and I'm more than excited about it!! 🌞💐

This song was the foundation of this whole project and one of the first songs I've ever written (older than "At The Backdoor").
I'm also excited to share this as the final single from my debut EP "Euphoria", which will be released June 19th <3

I want to thank @arroz_laulau and @barbatanasm for participating in this song as backing vocals, adding more color and soul. You guys did an amazing job :)
