I already got so many messages and comments telling me how beautiful ALL the testers' versions look throughout the whole size range, and I couldn't agree more. Holo Hood - testers' versions ✌🏻 Before the test started, I was super excited to see which color combos the testers would choose, and they did not disappoint! So many beautiful combos, it makes me want to cast on 6 other versions 🙈 One feedback I got from people testing the baby and children size is that it was a bit too small, some had to block it quite aggressively to get the hood to stretch around the whole head of their little ones. So I decided to quickly regrade the small sizes before the release to solve the issue! The change is subtle but it makes all the difference 👌🏻 I have zero experience with children's wear and I will happily admit I have no idea what I'm doing in this department, so I'm glad I got this feedback and managed to make the pattern even better thanks to my testers! Alright I'll let you enjoy the fashion show now. Rigi 3 Hat is now available in 🇪🇸🇩🇰🇳🇴🇫🇷 in addition to the already published 🇬🇧🇩🇪- thank you @knitlingo for the translations. The radiating rib pattern reminds of a crown. Mount Rigi, which I have hiked many many times, is often called the Queen of the mountains – so the name felt fitting. Rigi 3 because there are 3 layers of fabric over the ears. Knit on 3.5 mm needles with a gauge of 23 stitches. I have knitted the Rigi 3 hat in Cashmere Classic @cardiffcashmere, as well as with 2 strands Tweed Supreme @majogarn – both yarns purchased from @wolle7.ch The pattern contains a short row turn to ensure that the knit and purl rib segments have the same size – even if your knit and purl tension differ. My first attempt actually did not have a short row turn – and turned out not so nice due to very different widths of the knit and purl segments . I honestly never realized that my knit and purl tension differ so much when I knit broad ribbing… Thank you so much for test knitting @sonjasstrickshop @selinalismet . Das war die Studienreise (ehemals Retreat) zu Isager. Gemeinsam haben wir der Woche diesen Namen gegeben! Wir haben so viel gelernt, uns immer und immer wieder am Garnbuffet für neue Swatches bedient. Daneben blieb genug Zeit, uns von den Meeresstimmungen beglücken zu lassen, zu radeln oder spazieren. Nicolai verwöhnte uns mit gutem, kräuterreichem Essen und im Koserom liessen wir die Tage ausklingen! Danke allen Teilnehmerinnen für die gesellige Stimmung, die schönen Fotos von euch allen, die ich hier zusammengebracht habe.
