What started as an idea to create something different has grown into a space where Okinawan locals, Americans, and people from different backgrounds can walk through the door as strangers and leave having made a real connection. No nightlife. No pressure. Had the opportunity to capture @senseijas bringing the energy while teaching her line dance class at @mcc_okinawa 🔥💃🏾 And what made it even better this was her first time teaching a class in both Japanese AND English, and she absolutely killed it! 🇯🇵🔥 The energy was there, everybody was moving, and it was dope seeing everyone come together, learn the moves, and catch the vibe regardless of language. @nuchibywpu was amazing can’t explain the enjoyment I have for good people and good music and actually getting the chance to play some of the music I really listen to and see the reactions were chefs kiss.
