Sometimes, the years you thought were taking you away from your dream were actually preparing you for it.

REDTHRED it’s not dead. It’s always been going through an evolution, and so have I.

Fourteen years ago, I had a dream: to unite people through fashion, culture, and storytelling. It was inspired by my children, but while raising them, I made a choice — to give my children something I never had growing up: Me being present.

The years since haven’t been easy. My mom’s seven-year fight with cancer. Decades of building, then finally letting go of, our family business. Through all of it, I never stopped learning, growing, and quietly laying the groundwork for what’s next.

Now the door is open. My parents sacrificed their dreams to give me a chance on mine. I’m moving to show my own kids what it means to persevere — that it’s never too late to fulfill your calling. That delays don’t mean dead ends.

Whatever is on your heart. Keep going.

Another year around the sun today and the last 365 days has brought incredible things, a lot of challenges and heartbreaks. Moved in with @isa_____photo to a place we made our own. Toured with some of the best people (aka bands I looked up to in my youth), ate a lot of incredible food, drank an insane amount of @zomucoffee, went to @tieddowndetroit for the first time, published a second printing of my book, lost friends and family, found my love for Fingerboarding again… I can list all the shit that happened in the past year but it woukd take forever. All I wanna say is, I have learned to live my life as much as I can and to stay healthy (physically and mentally and emotionally), its not a really easy thing but all I can do is try.

Thank you to the people who stuck by my side, in the good, and the not so good. Your love is truly felt. And I wanna give my heart back to y’all ten fold.

I got so much love for yall!

Today, was a bittersweet day coz this community lost an absolute powerhouse. And even if I didn’t know Andy in a personal level.. I looked up to him and his music and how he just lights up a room. And seeing all your stories about him. We should definitely take a page off his book and just be an awesome human being, an awesome talent, an awesome entertainer, and just live life to the max. You will be missed @andycomplains, my heart goes to everyone who knew him and loved and cared for him. THE BUTCHER FOREVER. 💪

Damn.. fit so many things in one month again. So much friendship, so much hardcore, lots of @soundandfuryfest, so much love and a fuck ton of fingerboarding. Ya boy is beat but wouldn’t trade it for the world. I love every single one of y’all and I just wanna say… thanks for sharing this lifetime with me. ❤️

Full transparency, this month was the slowest work wise and my stress levels were thru the roof. But I survived a very tough month. I am still lucky enough that I get to be creative at work tho.

Am I happy?! I absolutely am! Regardless of how much life kicked my ass this month.

Been feeling a little out this past week but this little photo dump from my Ricoh GX200 reminded me that life has been pretty good. Friendship, love and cool places all around.

Also, Thank you to everyone who checked up on @isa_____photo. She’s is resting and well and getting back to the swing of things. Ngl, I may not have showed it but def was freaking out coz I hate hospitals haha.

i am grateful & appreciative of all those around me. the ones who show love & hug me whenever we see each other. Life moves pretty fast & sometimes it’s hard to keep up but one day they’ll be plenty of time to rest but today isn’t the that day. be here now. s/o to friendship for making my cup overflow with greatness. I’m indebted to these moments, these are the faces & people who make me feel alive, just know I value & adore you.
