It was a pleasure to attend the Women’s Caucus Dinner last week with my fellow Plaid Cymru Senedd Members.

Diolch Danielle (@lifebeing_little) for delivering an incredible speech and for raising awareness of #dwarfismawarenessmonth

Responsibility to call out disability discrimination should not have to fall on affected groups to be the first to advocate for themselves, it is all of our responsibilities to call out inappropriate behaviour.

🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️ WHAT A DAY! 💙🦈

A HUGE thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part in our Aquathlon! 🏅👏

To our amazing competitors — you absolutely smashed it! 💪 And to our incredible volunteers and marshals — we simply couldn’t have done it without you. 💙

So much hard work went into making the day happen, and seeing everyone smiling, supporting each other and enjoying the event made it all worthwhile.

Our first Aquathlon… but definitely not our last! 😉

See you next year? 🏊‍♀️🏃‍♂️🦈

Facinating to get a behind-the-scenes look at the progress at Llantrisant Health Park.

Phase one will provide MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound and endoscopy. And there’s more to come, with a new regional orthopaedic surgical hub planned for hip and knee replacements.

Increasing NHS capacity is key to reducing waiting times and fits with @plaidcymruwales commitment to develop 10 new surgical hubs across Wales.

Thank you to @cwmtafmorgannwg and @rctcouncil for the invitation and for showing us around the site

Port Talbot… steel, Anthony Hopkins, Richard Burton, Michael Sheen… and apparently a wee bit of recycling too 🤦🏼‍♂️

A throwback to Welsh Government visiting AWD when Wales was announced No. 2 in the world for recovery /recycling.

We just move a few bits of plastic around, but nice to know some of it counts. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿♻️⭕️ #recycling #circulareconomy #wales

A week later, Llanwonno is still smoking 🌫️

The flames may have disappeared, but beneath the surface, the peat is still smouldering, holding heat and continuing to produce smoke.

And eerily, there was so little sound.

Just smoke drifting across the landscape, scorched ground beneath my feet and a scene that felt immensely sombre.

A wildfire doesn't simply end when the flames disappear.
Sometimes, the landscape keeps burning long after we can no longer see the fire 🔥

🫗 Water connects us all.

Join 🔬Professor Richard Unsworth and a panel of experts from science, conservation, environmental law and campaigning, as they explore one of the most pressing environmental questions of our time: how do we restore the health of our rivers?
🌟Expect an inspiring, thought-provoking discussionthat looks beyond the problems to practical solutions, shared responsibility and the positive action needed to protect one of our most precious natural resources.
🌍Because if conservation starts anywhere, it starts with water.

Today we met with our local Senedd Members, Sera Evans MS and Alun Cox MS, to discuss our concerns around the cuts at USW.

We are thankful to both of them for taking the time to sit and listen to us.
