POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

What an incredible event at Strauss & Co today bringing together fashion, art, makeup and dazzling jewels! ✨💎

Our gallery space was transformed into an immersive backdrop for the iconic KLûK CGDT runway show, showcasing their spectacular new collection, Florescence, a beautiful celebration of femininity, detail and colour.

Guests enjoyed an intimate jewellery experience with exquisite pieces from Strauss & Co’s Luxury Jewellery Edition auctions, alongside a touch of glamour courtesy of the talented NARS make-up artists.

An incredibly exciting and immersive experience celebrating beauty and creativity, and a wonderful example of the power of collaboration bringing different creative worlds together to produce something truly extraordinary. ✨

A huge congratulations and thanks to the visionary @binagenovese @klukcgdt @strauss_and_co @straussjewellery @nars_artistry_sa @krone.world 💐

We invite you to discover more of Sera Hollands' distinctive work - @seraholland

At its core, Sera’s practice examines how order and chaos can coexist within a single surface and what might emerge when emotion, instinct, and material curiosity take the lead.

Her paintings develop slowly layer by layer, as she tests the limits of paint as both a physical substance and a visual language.

Showing until 25 October @studio50_gallery

Since I was in Stellenbosch yesterday anyhow to give my youngest a birthday hug, I decided to visit a few of the art exhibitions that are currently running in celebration of the @woordfees Festival.

At the townhall the artworks for the fifth annual Toyota Stellenbosch Word Festival online art auction is presented in collaboration with @strauss_and_co , whose specialists have selected works by both emerging and established artists. The aim of the auction is to encourage both new and experienced collectors to invest in art, expand the market, and improve access to the work of leading local artists.

At the Voorgelegen Museum there’s2 exhibitions. @ceramicmatters @freda.theron @hanlehill @janetormond_art @jacquestheron and @michaelchandlerceramics have the multidisciplinary exhibiexhibition ‘Die Blou Argief’ on that explores the fragile beauty of South Africa’s underwater ecosystems.
Lily Maas, Ros Koch and Stephen J Quirke explore landscapes, rivers, mountains and trees in ‘Rhythms of Nature’.

NB: If you click on the individual pictures you can see the names of the artists.

AVA 100 | Building Common Space for Artists

Rather than adhering to a single, overarching theme, our 2026 Members Exhibition unfolds in distinct chapters across our five gallery spaces — offering a rich variety of forms, media, and perspectives from artists at all career stages.

In our Front Gallery, materiality and abstraction enter into a dynamic conversation. The works on view reframe familiar textures and push the boundaries of traditional abstraction, contributing to a vital dialogue surrounding material practices across the continent today.

On view until 08.10.26
