First, a big THANK YOU for all the beautiful birthday wishes. 💚 I had the most glorious day, ending with a surprise party at a local pub. A surprise party! So much fun. My heart is full. It might not look like much now, but magic is happening as we break ground for our new Outdoor Education Classroom. These are your annual fund dollars at work!! Our Outdoor Education program is an important part of Terra’s emphasis on experiential education - and a direct result of parent giving. Without the generosity of Terra families, Ms. Marika’s dedicated Outdoor Educator position would not exist. Thanks to that support, Ms. Marika brings Outdoor Education to students across grade levels as a regular part of their Terra experience, helping them develop a sense of environmental stewardship and a lifelong appreciation for nature. And we’re continuing to grow. Last year’s Terra Fête raised an incredible $90,000 to bring Terra’s Outdoor Classroom to life, and construction is now underway. With gardens, planting beds, and flexible gathering spaces, the classroom will become the home of Ms. Marika’s program while providing a welcoming outdoor learning environment for students and guides across campus. This year’s Annual Fund will help complete the Outdoor Classroom, creating even more opportunities for hands-on learning and discovery. Together, these investments reflect Terra’s deep commitment to making nature and experiential learning essential parts of every student’s education.
